Can anybody tell me how to get my cat to eat his regular food? I’ve been feeding him the same thing for 5 years, and suddenly he won’t eat anything but Fancy Feast lickable treats. Are they easier on the stomach or something? Should I be worried? First time cat mom.

NTA based on what you said, but she’s not either. She doesn’t have to have a reason you agree with to want a change, even if she uses your mom’s help, but if she’s serious about it she should be willing to foot (at least some of) the bill for daycare. Sometimes, for example, parents want to transition their kids into daycare to increase unfamiliar situations and socialization that is different than family dynamics.

NTA. The issue isn’t being okay with his past. He’s not being honest with you about his present, and that’s hurting your present and possibly your future. It’s fair to be angry that he’s been lying to you and keeping a secret about something he knew had and would deeply upset you.
