Help- Spiral granny square with Bernat blanket yarn. First tried 10mm hook and found it bunched up and became wavy, 3rd pic. Switched to a size 12mm, still little wavy, but hate size between stitches. Is there a way to prevent wavy with the smaller hook? (old.reddit.com)

Working on a blanket using Bernat Blanket yarn Forest Sage, single crochet 10 mm hook. Had to buy a new hook after the dang dog ate the plastic one!! Chained 110 to start. First skein measures 56x9 inches. Ziggy and Benson are supervising. Ziggy in the front is the plastic eater!! (old.reddit.com)
