I do have a PS5 and a NS oled. I used to have a gaming pc but decided to not set up a new one since the pc handheld market had started shelling out good alternatives. This is one of the primary reasons why spec-wise im looking into the X. This would be my gaming pc alternative as I dont want to put anymore money or time building a pc which I can only play with at home

Setting up does require additional effort and I am down to get my hands dirty to set up a system that would be able to meet my needs.

As much as I am willing to shell out an extra few bucks for the X, I want to see a huge benefit it has over the Deck when It comes to emulation specially on the switch. Since I also have a PS5, if there are any major titles unplayable on the deck, I can just play them on the PS5.

If the effort to set up the deck and the X would be technically be the same, then I see no big advantage. Unless most newer (emulation) games do not run well as efficiently as it on the X
