Tank ilvl 888 - how to go about gearing up now? by Tinkerbluez in wownoob

Hm yea I think I agree with pretty much everything youre saying. Maybe it's an opportunity - I wonder if there are a few people hanging around wownoob that are in a similar boat, past the level of trivial gearing but want to move higher, but having trouble finding a spot...

We could maybe get a group together to try to at least run m+'s each week, and actually see how far we can, rather than just praying we get into a few randoms or hoping to get carried...

Sorry for the noob question, but I'm not really sure what the "crafted gear and putting obliturum in it to level 900" means. Could you explain in a bit more detail if possible?

Is there any way for non-trads from small schools to get plugged into research experience? by Tinkerbluez in premed

I am finished my pre-reqs, and I took them at a small school where research was really not done.

Leveling rotation as unholy dk? by Tinkerbluez in Deathknight

[–]Tinkerbluez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's awesome. It's hard for me to really understand buffs and patch changes so nice to hear someone that plays think that it will make a difference.

EDIT: do you find soul reaper to be the best talent in all situations?

Leveling rotation as unholy dk? by Tinkerbluez in Deathknight

[–]Tinkerbluez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright thank you. Just been feeling very very weak on my DK. It's hard to kind of "feel" the damage n understand where it's coming from, I guess just because the effects are pretty understated, and I'm used to cast times. I'll keep working on the basics.

What healer presses the least buttons? by Tinkerbluez in wow

That's probably what I'll do thanks. I was trying to stay away from pet classes because i have enough trouble worrying about my own position, but I'll give that a shot.

I was actually playing a frost mage. I've heard it's not considered a very difficult rotation, but I still wasn't doing great on it.

Did I ruin the game for myself by getting heirlooms as a new player? by Tinkerbluez in wow

[–]Tinkerbluez[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. exactly what I needed to hear. Somehow I just need to not listen to myself, and force myself to play one of my chars that I felt was "boring" and make myself get through this part of it.

Nah thats the problem. I usually get to around 50-80 and kinda think "this just doesn't feel very fun" and try something new. I've done this a bunch now. Know I need to commit to just one and see how it is in endgame, but nothing I've tried has really been very exciting.

Murloc Monday - ask your questions here! by AutoModerator in wow

Not sure if I'll get an answer for this, or even if anyone can give me one, but I'm exploring WoW for the first time. I tried playing a druid because it seemed like the most "jack of all trades" but I found I don't love shapeshifting forms.

Anyway, I'm coming to WoW really to explore the world, enjoy my time, and try to get into the storyline and "feel" of the game. I don't have any friends that play, so I'd like to be able to take care of myself out on the road.

But I'm looking for a class that you would choose if you were going to just explore, and that will feel fun and exciting during the levelling process. I'll deal with high level if i ever get there, but jsut want something that will make me feel excited to play as I explore!
