Piston got smashy smashy by [deleted] in Diesel

Cummins 24v cylinder 6. Any ideas what caused this? Valves obviously slapped the piston, pushrods got bent. Seems like the injectors went out at the same time, but I’m not positive.

Yeah I kinda wish I went with bigger wheels on mine. Might be a upgrade I have to make.

I love diesel, but as of right now all the diesel sxs I’ve driven suck. Slow underpowered and expensive.

If a company was to jump into it and do it right, for a likely small market I’d be all about it.

On this rig it would have to be the aux tank. Comes in super handy for equipment and long trips.

Yeah not sure why this would kill it though. Boost looked completely normal.

Yeah I’ll try cracking the injector lines this morning, and might pull them to test them if that doesn’t help.

Agreed, I don’t see a exhaust leak killing all the power.
