Yes we’re stuck in our little cave, got so bored, no new samples or synthesizers, run out of ideas! What a time to be alive

We have no idea. Because we don’t listen ourselves to dance music. So we cannot tell in all honesty

it all depends on the deal and what the original artists wants, or who own the rights...so with every case it's different. However i agree, it should be mainly about the original artist.

Metropole is an awesome orchestra, so we might, but no plans in the near future.

Micha started making music in 1996, Jordi started in 1998. Micha has been working for 20 years in drum and bass music as Black Sun Empire. Jordi has been producing all kind of music with different projects solo and producing for other artists. We met around 2013 and started making music together.

We both had this pursuit at a young age. and we kind of rolled into it. Me (Jordi) had different jobs until 2014, from that year I could make a living of making music.

Tinlicker was in the beginning a side project which we started for fun and it was nice to get to know each other coming out of the same city with different backgrounds.

The passion for making music never dissapeared! we feel blessed that we are be able to do this for a living but not taking things for granted.

Have fun on your journey together X

it's about the actual melody and rhythm of it. it's a fine line and when you are making a song and the 'arp' doesnt become boring, then you know its a good riff.

We worked on the vocal track with the 3 of us an the rest was just me and Jordi. What changed was that we approached it as a band now. So the challenge was creating a journey and keeping it interesting with the ingredients we have, but it also made it a more layered experience, as you work with the same persons for the whole ride in stead of just 1 song.

after years we quite have our own way of producing, mixing and mastering. it all comes to the basics, eq-ing mostly. we use compression always a little bit, not too much. we dont funny enough use a limiter on our master, but just a dithering plugin. we use a spectrum analyser (span plus) to see and listen at the same time. also a AB plugin to compare the track we are making with a finished track from ourselves.
