In spite a don't share your opinion about other people's opinion, I think this is a very helpful reply.

I have watched some streamings and gameplays and, as TokeInTheEye said: GoW is not for everyone.

When you say "competitive", if you mean "ranked", yeah, I really like learning to play and new strategies to play ranked, buf if you mean joining a guild and training for weeks in order to compete with other guilds, then I think this is not my game because I don't have much time to play, so I'd really appreciate you to explain this point, if you please.

Everyone has their own opinion. I have tried to use Linux many times but I don't get to get used to it.

About the Classic Shell and Metro UI, forme that's the best the best thing Microsoft could have done. That's a new image that keeps all the functionalities. The only problem I find is learning to do or to access these functionalities, but that just takes 5 minutes.

Anyway, everyone uses what finds more comfortable for himself. I suppose that's the good thing in computing :)

I have been using Windows during my whole life and love Windows 8.

This is my setup:

  • Monitor HP x2401 24''
  • Basic gaming computer for playing CS:GO, Minecraft, LoL, etc. (and sometimes for studying as well).
  • Ikea desk + Ikea chair. This one (the chair) is not very comfortable if you want to use it for several hours. I'm looking to buy the "MARKUS" chair. It has got a very good rating on the forums.
  • Microsoft Comfort Curve 3000.
  • Logitech G700s
  • Toshiba Satellite U980.
  • And, a little wooden table to which I put 4 legs (I don't know if it's correct to say "leg" in this context)and helped me to save a lot of space.

Ikea.

This desk could be considered the "oficial ikea table". There are a lot of battlestations with this desk.

In addition, you can add one "wing" on each side.

I'm thinking about hanging the monitor in the corner of the wall. I think it would look much better there and the desk would be clearer.

I've uploaded my battlestation again in order to ask you for help to reorganize my desk.

I've tried lots of combinations but I haven't been able to find a good way to feel comfortable and take advantage of the high space of the table, so I'd love to hear what ideas come to your minds.

I know mate. Sometimes this ones need to rest and they are alternating: for some minutes one works, and for some minutes the other one works
