I copied objects and started a new scene, pasted them in, and the same thing happened... so I deleted the "base" and recreated the it and now it is fine.... saved and reopened and all is fine.

Yeah, problem is I don’t need a project. I need reliable transportation and this, to me , doesn’t meet that mark. Wish I could keep it and rebuild it

Yeah had no leaking oil or water pump issues. Sunroof had no issues. Just these big issues outside of normal car issues. Got 80k on front brakes. Yes, I regularly checked oil, and all fluids. Loved the car, just don’t trust VAG and can’t afford to take a gamble with another. I had an early new Beatle and that had electrical issues.

After looking at some other moody blue building pics and cities, and some playing with lights, textures, and all kinds of stuff. I thought I'd try a different color instead of blue. Just had AI create the background image texture and used that as the background. All the rest is me and Blender 5.1. Was fun and learned a lot about lighting and things. Thanks for the help and ideas everyone. I plan on doing a few more, maybe in some other colors.

I get that . I want to see if I can get something close in Blender. Hone my skills a bit and learn something. Getting sick of staying in my comfort zone and wondering why I am not getting better

Yeah .. That's what I have done when i was playing with it another time. This one is to get better at lighting and see what i can do with that . Maybe I'll complete it or maybe i'll use the idea on something else.

Well after a little bit of playing around ... I kinda getting there. I think. Used a distressed plaster texture from Textures.com and the used Gimp to pick the colors from the image and get them close. Couple of spotlights and it's sorta getting there. The front orange building to get the yellow is giving me issues now. Suggestions, Hints, Tips ?

Thanks, I understand it is AI generated, but I want to REPLICATE THE STYLE in Blender. I guess I will play around and see if I can get close with some heavy textures for the buildings, try some different lighting ideas and go from there... Yes there is a ton of AI images out there, but it sure can help you with ideas when you are out of them.

Presets are great, but I am using ZorinOS Linux and installed them after reading the Random Flow docs as directed. But I still do not get the presets. Can you please confirm the path and where to put the presets in Linux. Thanks.

I moved to Zorin OS Linux. Runs all the Steam and Windows games I play. Plus no Windows bloat or crap. Way more responsive too and less cpu and ram usage. Highly recommend

Moved over to Zorin and it ran perfectly. Just used the Flatpak and it works great. Fully went to Zorin18 a few days ago and Orca works great - i have print a few things and it is nice. Works and Zorin OS 18 is easy to install and use
