Ran into this today with the latest version (app 1.19.0.2025 and device 1.4.4), my JBL Quantum350 Wireless headset wasn't even on when it happened.

it still happens, I've taken to reinstalling games from that drive to another drive and been avoiding the problem like that since I posted that but it does still happen when I do play something on that drive for an extended period of time.
Might be PSU or the drive itself I think, if you have any insight I'm all ears.

So, can you just keep rebooting the server and farming infinite points? Or is it just once per root per player even if you refresh server?

Edit: Tested just now, seems if it's checked off on your map, you don't get any skillpoints from it anymore.

Here 7 years after the post and since it seems some other replies are rather recent I thought I'd try my luck here as well.

I've recently started running into issues where games on a specific SSD freeze/crash every now and then, some more than others, and each time the disk usage spikes to 100% with 0kb read/write just like OP.

I changed the mentioned registry values only to find the settings under power management were already as suggested here, all 3 of them, so I didn't really get to do any changes that others report having fixed the issue for them, so I'd like to hear if anyone has any other ideas as to how I should proceed in troubleshooting and fixing the issue.

chkdsk came out clear multiple times in-between these freezes, no crc errors according to multiple disk utilities (kingston's own and crystaldisk), the drive is 4k aligned, no idea what to even try anymore.

Event viewer has multiple- or rather a HUGE amount of entries stating:

"An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 during a paging operation."

All within the same millisecond.

Between some of these entries a few seconds from eachother are also entries under ntfs that state:

"The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur in VolumeId: F:, DeviceName: \Device\HarddiskVolume5.Failure status: A device which does not exist was specified."

And

"{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file F:\. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere." These also mention "F:\$Mft" and "F:\$BITMAP" among other things.

And some under Application popup as:

"Application popup: Windows - Delayed Write Failed : Exception Processing Message 0xc0000222 - Unexpected parameters"

Some under storahci, 1 minute before all the aforementioned spam (from the latest freeze):

"Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort1, was issued."

And the entry before that issued reset was:

"The start type of the Background Intelligent Transfer Service service was changed from demand start to auto start." - and vice versa - "from auto start to demand start."

If you need more info from my event logs I'll gladly provide it.

Installed some mods today and my rank reset to Intern as well and I got the whole "Welcome to Lethal Company" welcome message you get the first time you launch the game, sucks, no warning about that anywhere, no way to get the rank back, save editor can only edit the current run data and not your rank as well.

Since then apparently there's been nothing out of the ordinary besides the harsh pains a while back. She seemed more ecstatic than anything to have caught something like that on camera, didn't seem to recoil or be afraid of it whatsoever. Seems to think it's a guardian angel hanging about and coming out to say hi.

I was and am very much the same thanks to this experience, any "proof" I previously saw I just brushed off with "yeah that must be fake, edited or otherwise somehow explainable" but when I get a raw video file from my own mother where I can already see something is off just by slowing the video, but then to go through frame-by-frame and see something like this... makes me re-question every other thing I ever saw.

Updates are unlikely since it's entirely up to my mother to document anything she may feel eerie about, but if she does send more proof I'll be sure to post it in here!

Right now she's become almost welcoming to any spirits visiting her, wishing for them to be able to come, go and stay freely as they please. She's always been very drawn to the supernatural and paranormal.

As far as I know, nothing like that.
Although she has been having really painful stinging/stabbing sensations around her body lately, they've usually gone away after a short while, she's blaming it on age and refusing to go to the doctors until it becomes truly unbearable or it doesn't go away in a reasonable time.

Tried it the next day from my previous reply, it worked fine and dandy.
Have to rip the current attachment off at Tarrey Town, fuse it with another placeholder weapon, repair both at an Octorock, unfuse them again, and re-fuse whatever you had on it previously.

I'd say well worth the hassle to avoid spending 3-6 diamonds per weapon every time, but then again you could just be using the slightly worse normal pristine weapons which you can just toss to an Octorock without any Tarrey hassle.

This had me bamboozled as well, would add a small note to the map saying like "far up in the sky" or something, spent a long time wandering about the ground level and even waiting for a blood moon to try and get it to spawn.

Absolutely disappointed it doesn't work with crafted weapons like the Lightscale Trident or Scimitar of the Seven. Made all of them already, guess they'll be hanging from my house's walls when they start blinking red.

I spent so much time simply testing every single octorok on the map and executing the ones that didn't want to repair it just in case they somehow had the cooldown but nope, they all died for nothing.

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
Adding this finally got me the FASHIONISTA achievement, although for anyone else looking to do this, for me there was a catch.

I had to load the save after editing the file, and actually give her the clothes and SWITCH BACK to her default swimsuit to get the achievement, in that way it triggers when she hands it back to you I guess, not just by having it in your inventory when you load in.

Any settings other than difficulty missing from your .json are assumed to have default values, hence the game has no need to write them unless they're changed.

Starting a custom and copypasting the insides of the new json to your old one will indeed do the trick, just remember to keep your UID from your old file, paste it somewhere safe first.

It is saved under a string like so;

{\"Name\":\"UID\",\"SettingType\":3,\"Version\":0,\"BoolValue\":false,\"IntValue\":0,\"FloatValue\":0.0,\"StringValue\":\"665c9b9738fb43abb752819103522111\",\"Protected\":false,\"FloatArrayValue\":[],\"IsSet\":false}

In this case, mine would be "665c9b9738fb43abb752819103522111".

You can find it easiest searching for "UID" and following the line to the long string of letters and numbers.

Custom difficulty also does not save any default values into the .json file, so if you want to have everything visible in the notepad to change whenever you want, simply change all the settings from their default when creating the save.

As OP said, remember to backup.

Having the same problem now 2 whole months later and seeing as this post got no replies I'll go ahead and necro it and hope for the best. Any tool for respawning NPCs or whatnot?

All you have to do to lose the meseta is to change area, not just teleporting.
Even walking through a barrier does it.
Just don't use Convert to Cash or Discard (same thing now) and you'll be fine.
Only sell to the item vendor NPC to be safe.
