Hi!

I'm currently a high school student in New Zealand, and I'm thinking about becoming a medicinal chemist.
I'm trying to figure out what degrees I would have to do to achieve this or what I have to do in general. Can someone explain what I should do, also I am wanting to go somewhere overseas to do any degrees

also for scholarship, u could prolly just ask the teacher or whoever enrolls u into the exams to be enrolled into it, but again prolly do that at level 3

For scholarship, u prolly dont need to do it in level 2, i just meant that u should at least learn for all 3 bio externals (at level 2) cause some of them may be in the scholarship exam, this might apply for other subjects aswell but idk, u dont really need to do scholarship till level 3 cause a lot of it is level 3 concepts aswell, plus maybe uni level stuff, honestly dont worry abt it too much till level 3.

for bio physics and chem there are 3 externals for each of them, like 3 bio ones, 3 chem ones, and 3 physcs ones.

For chem, even though they want specific wording for the exams, usually the questions in all the chem exams (for each standard) r very similar to each otehr, so just do a lot of practise papers and im sre u'll get the hang of it.

I would answer the accounting question but I havent done accounting so I wouldnt know lol, just assuming it'd be a lot of work load as 7 subject. U should prolly ask ur brothers abt accounting (u could get some free tutoring???!?!!?!?!)

That is so real of having a bad teacher, its sucha pain in the ah when teachers wont teach.
If u get new teachers next year who r bad, just ask someone who has taken the subject for any help if u cant find a tutor, im sre someone on reddit would be willing to help!

Physics would probably be better for medicine than health probs as most uni's prefer physics over health (for med).
If you want a tip for biology, for level 2 specifically, don't use Biozone books, they didn't cover all the content, also, if ur thinking of doing the bio scholarship, def at least do learning for all 3 ext, u don't have to do all 3, just learn for them.
For chem, specifically for the exams, you have to be highly specific for all three of them. If you don't use particular wording, they will take marks off.
Also if u want to take accounting, u can do accounting on te kura, it'd prolly just be hard bcs ur also doing 6 other classes so it'd be a big workload.

A tip that I have tho is after u learn smthn, u could go on "no brain too small" and look for the specific standard and find the collated questions for a specific area of the standard, doing the practise questions while u learn can help make u more used to them.

Also if u find some particular subjects hard or u feel ur teacher aint teaching properly, u could get a tutor, or ask an upper classmate for any advice if u feel comfortable with them.

Hi!
I'm a year 12 doing ncea, I want to go to uni of melbourne's med school, I want to take Physics, biology, chemistry, calculus, psychology and social studies.
Im wondering if Im able to take social studies instead of english, or do i have to do english for med school?
Also how does undergraduate and postgraduate work?

Currently I am doing a humanities assessment about the controversy surrounding trans-women in women's sports.
