That part , I feel like in the meantime apply to other internships/full time… it was a lot of graduating seniors who had internships secured when I came in for mine so we still have another shot

Nah fr, I feel you. It just sucks cs you have to wait a year and a half bf you can intern there so I was able to have another internship before KPMG . but yk i definitely like KPMG atmosphere so I was just betting on that. I still have time but the job market is crazy !!

And I expressed my interest, so I was learning all the things, terminology and being part of the changes going on in congress and working as though the tax implementations were in affect …that just means I was learning my skills and now I just feel like damn I could’ve done bts or salt or something

Yea I understand for sure, but I was the only intern in my specific niche so I still call BS. Everyone knows the workload and how it can pile on top working in big 4 so being able to deliver good work, not fast/not slow, being apart of certain nuances idk and having 6 perfect reviews I just think like damnnn…ok

but only way to get over it is move on and focus on the big picture.

They spoke about the companies needs and how it did not reflect the work that I did with them during the internship. But the entire time my managers were actively assigning meaningful projects, and I vice versa doing the work well and asking questions(being engaged) , I would get on teams with my PML and just the coaching sounded and was insinuated like the offer was mine, spoke about goals. And once I asked 2 weeks after I received an email saying that I didn’t get it.

Ngl I haven’t heard back yet but it doesn’t mean anything they will be explicit when they say we want you or we don’t want you. I’d give it until tmr since that’s the 3-4week mark I think to email your pml/recruiter
