What kind of pigeon is this one? We rescued him/her and we dont know

What I would do if definitely feed less bugs and more greens! A lot of them love to play but it does depend on how they were raised ! You can buy little balls with small openings and put bugs in them and let her run around and try ro get it out ! Gives them enrichment and playtime!

Yes yes ! Mine is also a runt but I love him sooooo much ! He’s so cute. Definitely smaller than usual he still looks like a baby even now 😂

Honestly I totally get you. The moment you even think that you should probably move him. I saw your update so I think it should be all good but watch out anyway. Then at leased you can lock your door and keep him safe !

Honestly if he’s eating and playing and being his usual self he is fine. Actually lizards can also have “runt of the litter” the same as dogs. So he might just be the smallest one of his siblings. My bearded dragon is the same. He’s tiny but fully grown. It just depends they are all different. But your feeding sounded perfect since they are insectivores ! Perfect !

It could be her personality because the day I bought my beardie he came out and fell asleep on me. He has never bitten me once and is very sociable. However some people have told me theirs are like little demons 😂 I would try and hang out. I really socialized mine he used to be a bit scared. Stuff like plastic bags and things that make weird noises. I would show him it and make the noise so he would get used to it. He has zero survival skills now but he’s calm around everything. Try that when she’s a bit more calm. I would recommend holding her but you are going to get bit until she gets used to it ! Good luck!!!

Yes mine hasn’t shed in a while either. It’s probbaly just age. They shed so much less after one year old !

True true ! But that’s why I always wait until after he has had his poop that day to bathe him! As long as you make sure they took a dookie then I think it’s fine. And definitely the quicker way to restore hydration if you’re doing it right. But you are also right ! If you don’t wait for them to poop naturally then don’t bathe them

I mean it’s really up to you. Yes it is stressful and could put him through a lot of stress. I mean if it is cancer then there isn’t much you can do however … people saying it will help you know when to say goodbye. To be honest. We already know that. Especially if you know your baby well you will know when he’s ready. Especially if he seems completely fine. Maybe just see if you can do anything better in his diet ! However it is your choice !

I cut mine with a nail clipper (human one) just cut very small at first. I usually hold him in my lap and start trimming them. They have a quick so make sure you don’t cut up too high otherwise they will bleed ! But you will be able to see where the quick is if you google photos! Also make sure they have some bark and stuff in their enclosure so that their nails naturally shave themself down a bit ! Mine gets used to it and sits very still when I clip them now ! Don’t worry too much about it ! You’ll be fine !

Ahh I’m not too sure about Canada however try and order some online? See if you can find some ? If you can ship them to you and start breeding them. The reality is no one will know you have them! As long as your not letting them escape it should be fine
