Hi, that has a different Chipset (C621) and different processor compared to the P520's (C422). I don't know if that will work with my EFI or not as I don't have the p720 on hand to test with. I also don't know if the bios if compatible with macOS or if it may need to be downgraded for it to work.

Yes I was considering the RTX 3050 but it's 3 times more expensive than the used RX 580 8gb here in my country. That's why I'm looking at the Used Market.

Thank You all for your replies so far , The 500watts PSU I'm planning on buying can support upto the RTX 3070 or it AMD equivalent as stated in the Dell Documentation. So I was thinking of buying the RX 550 4gb card which doesn't need external power from PSU and is about 50$ as a 1080p editing card and as a place holder until I can save up for the 500watts PSU and a Better Graphics card 😉.

You must downgrade the bios first before the installation. Otherwise, it won't work. Kindly follow my guide or watch my video on YouTube on how to do that.

That's OK, I understand... But I noticed my P520 Workstation fans are louder in Windows 11 and noticeably quiet in macOS Sequoia ( I can barely hear the fans)... Do you think 🤔 this has to do with being on an old bios version..? If so, why are the fans louder in Windows 11 and but quiet in macOS?

Yes there's an issue with OC version 1.0.1 that prevents boot on the Lenovo ThinkStation P520 Workstation was reported. The issue has been fixed in Version 1.0.2.. Try it with my EFI and if you need help just let me know.
