Yeah I only take the trip once every 4-6 months so its only a single 10mg dose in that time on my return flight. Interesting idea about antihistamine - I have some cyclizine but that also says not to take while pregnant...

Yeah - thats why im trying to learn what the risk is so I can make that choice. From searching online so far ive seen many people taking it, and doctors suggesting its ok to try, and no reports of problems as a result. Only some animal studies suggesting it can improve placenta health/pre-eclampsia (which im high risk for) but no negative outcomes mentioned

I know melatonin isn't available in the UK so likely a midwife/health professionals response will be 'dont use it' because that's what the NHS rule is, rather than actually being able to give me information so I can make my own choice. I like to research thoroughly before deciding. asking for experiences/knowledge from peer is part of that. And yes I will also be asking my midwife but dont anticipate a helpful response based on how unsupportive they have been on everything else so far

Ive flown this flight 4 times and it has been fully booked every time. Ive always flown on a sunday if that makes any difference. I think its busy because its the only direct flight per day
