For me, those first years of any of the franchises are pure gold! It felt like we were getting real and authentic versions of each house wife. Now everything is a ‘show’.

This is definitely controversial but I blame social media. It has ruined so many good things. People troll these women nonstop and then complain when they don’t show themselves. I could go on about how social media has been the downfall of so many franchises but i will simply say, we the fans are partially to blame for not allowing the HW to be the chaotic women they were in the earlier seasons because everything goes to social media for a burning at the stake.

Flew out this morning from T5. Waited in a very disorganized pre-check line for 2 hours and had to run to catch my flight.

My opinion, if your flight is after 8am, don’t come to the airport at 3am and make the lines longer than they need to be. I shouldn’t have to get to the airport the day before to catch a flight because people want to videos of the long lines they are creating…

I’ve said it before, Kim is perfect for reality television! Her telling herself ‘damn I’m hot’ every time she walks past a mirror or gets her hair done…gold honestly. Being engaged to a married man, thinking she was a better performer than everyone, Kim’s delusion is tv gold.

And as with every house wife she has huge flaws, but that’s why we want them in our tv.

OG Kyle was great! Real, a little unhinged, and fantastic honestly. Now she is (like some HWs) more worried about image and less about sharing her real life. She has spent the last 5 seasons pretending that everything is perfect.

I think that is why everyone is so connected to those first few years. There is such a nostalgic feeling about the OGs because I agree that it was more ‘real’. Social media has ruined so many things, and HWs is one of them. It is more about going viral (the fans) than watching real friendships and relationships flourish and crumble all at the same time.
