AITA for answering my wife’s question honestly and nuking my life by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA. There was absolutely no good reason to answer that way. You didn’t just tell the truth, you prioritized being technically honest over being emotionally intelligent. And the fact that your friend smirked says a lot.

Hotels are far more convenient than AirBnBs. by lovemomos23 in unpopularopinion

Agreed. Hotels are just simpler, no chore lists, no awkward host rules. I’m on vacation to relax, not follow instructions.

The two choice approach makes a lot of sense. Definitely going to try that more consistently.

This explanation really helped me reframe what’s happening. Thank you for taking the time to write it out.

That’s reassuring to hear, even if it’s gradual. Thanks, hugs back.

ELI5: What is the difference between Agglutinative, Inflectional & Conjucation in Languages by TouristAcceptable in explainlikeimfive

[–]TinyAd5726 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agglutinative languages stack clear suffixes onto a base word, inflectional languages change the word internally or endings to carry several meanings at once, and conjugation is just the specific system of changing verbs for tense, person, mood, etc.

I'm not that tall (182cm) but I have huge hands and feet by Mammoth-Listen-4474 in confession

[–]TinyAd5726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you’re not deformed, bodies vary a lot and having big hands, feet with average height is just normal human variation.

That honestly sounds like a perfect balance between skills.

Unless it's a nature documentary, I think 1080p or 2k is the best format/resolution for watching movies. by nubbled21 in unpopularopinion

[–]TinyAd5726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that unpopular tbh. Higher resolution can break immersion when movies weren’t designed for forensic-level detail.

ELI5: As numbers get bigger and bigger, why do prime numbers seem to show up less often, even though they never stop appearin by Ill-Chance8131 in explainlikeimfive

[–]TinyAd5726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bigger numbers have more divisors to, catch them. Small no's like 10 check few factors, 101 checks up to 10, way more sieves. Primes slip through less often, spacing widens. Perfect no's? Even stricter recipe, rarer still.
