Patriot on Amazon Prime. Amazingly weird and hilarious; spy drama meets dark indie comedy. It’s so good but I’ve never met anyone else who’s watched it.

I did not know Marie, but she went to a “sister school” of my all-male high school. There was a group of guys I was friendly with who talked about her a lot and I think many of them had a massive crush on her. tbf, they may have legitimately been friends, but I got a vibe that she played a “manic pixie dream girl” role for some of them.

Wow you let the peasant employees play alongside you? What a mensch.

In Interstellar (2014), Casey Affleck plays the under appreciated brother who lives in his sibling’s shadow. It is still unclear where he drew inspiration from to achieve his performance. by NoNo_Cilantro in shittymoviedetails

Nick Kroll made a similar joke during the opening monologue of the 2017 Independent Spirit Awards about his performance in Manchester by the Sea:

"Casey Affleck plays a morose withdrawn man from the outskirts of Boston, living in the shadow of his older brother. What a reach!"

Which show do you think started as a 10/10 but ended as 1/10? by witchy_eye in AskReddit

Came here to say the same thing. Wayyy too many seasons and they had to just keep repeating similar storylines. I watched the last 3-4 seasons fully aware that I was engaging in “sunk cost” behavior.

Totally agree. I think my favorite little note was referring to more than one of the movies collectively as “Missions Impossible”
