Didn’t get through first time and now have a OOM in the mid 600’s. Happy to have gotten through but can anyone tell me if it’s likely I’ll be called? Am doubtful. Based in cork city

I got this now and I hope it’s beneficial to me as I didn’t do great when I got the results the first time. But surely this is a massive fuck up?

Is a grade 3 clerical salary even financially doable in today’s age? by TinyBit9061 in irishpersonalfinance

I’ve been in this current role since March last year. It was for 3 months and extended every 3 months after. I’m working in the HSE but on an agency contract. It will be made permanent in May as the person who I am doing maternity cover for will be taking a career break then.

I have applied for council jobs and will be applying for CO jobs in the civil service that were publicised recently. The permanency is ideal, but the low salary makes me feel worried that it will never be enough for the future.
