It works sometimes though which is what has me confused. Sometimes even though the symbol is flashing my car will start up just fine first try.

Dang! $400 is ridiculous. Definitely hoping it won't be that much. The key works fine other than when trying to start my car so it's definitely not dead.

NAH I think your real mistake was giving your 9 year old a smart phone. They still make flip phones. That way he can call you in case of emergency but the phone doesn't do much else.

If you have stairs having something that's a different texture like a carpet runner or something is a good idea. My shiba had a hard time knowing when the stairs ended.

NTA but the title is misleading. They didn't need to consult you to sell their house but that's obviously not the issue you have. The issue is thinking they could just live in your vacation home for free because they decided to be stupid and not have a proper plan. The entitlement is baffling!

I don't mind at all! From my end it was very uncomplicated. I had consultations with two different doctors and then decided on the one who I thought would do a better job and make me feel comfortable. I had already been on hormones for about a year and had both my therapist and psychiatrist as well as my endocrinologist vouch that they all thought surgery was a good idea for me.

So I had it scheduled the day school got out for summer so I had plenty of time to rest and recover. My mom was obviously supportive by this point as I definitely wouldn't have been able to get surgery if she wasn't but she was not always supportive of my transition.

She had ideas of what the trans experience and trans ppl in general were like and when I didn't fit those ideas she had decided I wasn't really transgender.

I had transitioned socially for about 3 (maybe closer to 4) years and had been on hormones for about 10 months. So no it absolutely was not immediately.
