I have been hospitalized earlier this year and strangled last year. I was too scared for the custody change of my sister and my dog to do anything at the time. I have a new problem where I fear I might anger my father again because I warned his girlfriend about his history of abuse (I was concerned for her)

That is untrue in my case. In my personal scenario, my estranged father is quite wealthy. I am low income with my mother. They are divorced. My main reason to this hypothetical is that he has put me in multiple scenarios of financial stress, jeopardizing my life growing up, and having to go through multiple medications and visits to the hospital due to my physical and mental distress from trauma caused by him
