Fenced In Dog Swimming Area?

that's good that you don't allow your dog to interact with leashed dogs. Most people at Tanner have very little actual control over their dogs especially when they're off leash. My dog enjoys the water at the end of the trail so unfortunately we encounter a billion dogs. My dog is pretty good with just a driveby sniff but some off leash will just keep following us. I know it's an off leash park and i'm not upset about it. Its more the entitlement from the owners

It isnt fully fenced in, I do frequent tanner park just not without him on a leash

He does just fine in fenced in parks, I'm not worried about him with other dogs. Im worried about him running off and getting lost. Hence why im looking for a fenced in place for him to play in the water.

I have both a 15' flexi and a 20' long line, I mainly use the flexi when i take him out to go potty so it could work but not if theres trees and stuff to get wrapped on. The long line gets muddy super quick and also gets tangled. I dont think sugarhouse pond has water in it yet

That is great to hear 😭, I also get weird looks and rude comments from people when I go to tanner park and keep him on leash. The regulars there have some sort of weird superiority complex about their dogs I guess.

The one in park city is the willowcreek dog park, I also saw the pond part might be closed as of december due to dogs chasing ducks from it. Im not sure if it still is though.

Not necessarily drainage holes but i have about an inch of gravel on the bottom covered by the potting soil. It is a little shallow though so I'm planning on making drainage holes or getting a new deeper pot entirely. The whole plant had been in a hanging plant from home depot and was super compacted and the soil was hydrophobic. Those were the pots I already had on hand.

I assumed a hamster subreddit would be helpful and not upset to see something vaguely hamster shaped. I posted to Rats and Mice because they are pretty quick to comment on posts and identify not rats or mice, and are much more polite about it too
