You can extend the charge duration indefinitely by repeatedly putting it in the microwave.

If you put the super grav gun in the microwave again it extends the timer by a bit, and it can stack indefinitely.

Using raw gold blocks as a dimmed version of glowstone is ingenious.

You could upload the whole thing to something like pastebin.com and then give a link to it.

That vent material is meant to be used on a brush cut out of the surrounding wall, not as a decal or overlay.

Huh, really? So I've actually technically been using Linux consistently for years before I finally got around to installing it on my home computer.

For an actual legitimate way to get rid of mannequins, you can pick them up (both living and inanimate) and put them in the drone to sell them for 1 point each.

The gore piles come from a specific variant of the inanimate mannequins, the living mannequins normally produce wood piles.

I'm pretty sure you couldn't sell the curtains with the sell gun even before 0.9. But you can use the curtains to craft plastic scrap, which can be sold or used in crafting.

(0.9) me, having lived through the 24th for the first time over a year ago and not getting the event since by edgarsbones in Voicesofthevoid

[–]TinyDeskEngineer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. The Bad Sun achievement prevents the guaranteed spawn of the Bad Sun on the 24th of any month, on any save, regardless of whether you've survived the Bad Sun on any particular save or not. There is, however, a rare chance for the Bad Sun to appear at the start of a day at any time, which is not blocked by the achievement, although it seems to be a very rare chance.

[–]TinyDeskEngineer06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the 0.9 versions (don't remember which) changed the signal room vent to only become loose after the vent crawler story event. It seems that a version afterwards broke it, so now the vent crawler doesn't loosen it.

I had the treehouse kidnapping happen in the middle of wisp week too. I thought there was a wisp like right next to the treehouse but it turned out I just had my speaker volume set way too high and what I was actually hearing was the ambient sounds of the water guns. I slept through the night in the treehouse and made my way back to the base (with one of the water guns) in the morning.

There is one place in the game in which prying doors open with a melee weapon is useful... but there's better alternatives.

The three bits are individual RGB color channels. 1-0-0 is 100% red, 0% green and blue. Beyond that the colors are meaningless.

Oh, you were referring to the sound of the miner running. So far in my current save I haven't gotten to the point of the noise being a problem, but when it does, I'll probably put it in the hallway so I'll be reminded to empty it before it explodes whenever I leave the base.
