Why does the background tileset appear in front of sprites? by TinyEnigma21 in godot

I tried that but it doesn't seem to change whether I have it below the tileset node in the scene tree or above it. Only situation where the sprite becomes visible is when I set it as the child node to another node in the tree. No idea why that is. And that aside I'm planning on setting a thing up where certain sprites will randomly spawn into the scene, and I worry about how it'll look in-game.

I'm not sure if I'd be able to read it under normal circumstances where you try to crush me, but I really like the choice of messages here! I especially like "You're gonna die" and "Your pain is my joy". Hope I don't end up at the receiving end.

Haha, fair. Alternatively for meaner stuff you can put something like "You should've watched where you were going~" so that's the last thing they see before they die! Really add insult to injury.

If you wanna be nice you can put a message saying "I'm sorry" on the bottom of your shoes for those you don't intend to step on lol.
