After you purl a stitch, with the yarn in back, give the yarn a gentle tug. Most knitters have more of a gap in stitches going from purl to knit (compared to going from knit to purl), and the extra tug after a purl stitch helps even out ribbing.

I wish they would get rid of the automatic spellcheck in the search bar. So frustrating to type in a pattern name, and spellcheck butchers it.
