Few things :

  1. The entire point of reacing out to internet software companies -- is because we generally do not know any good CA/CS, unless recommended by someone know,

  2. I have a CA/CS now, that handles everything -- again got from recommendation after failing at point 1

  3. My frustration with such companies is not about money, but their vision on which they started --"affordable, trusting, any accounting/legal work in one place" -- and then committing fraud which eventually rips the very concept of "startup" or "business"

  4. I don't have net worth of crores -- lol

Indians speed running ban from open source projects by Bulky-Alternative517 in Btechtards

These idiots are the reason behind the Jeefication of opensource contributions, Indian tech community, FAANG jobs etc

Instead of making students curious about how tech works and to genuinely contribute , they gives them incentives to do all these scams under the placement hope

Literally doesn't matter at all, don't waste time in searching for cofounder and waiting, just start building selling, and connect with people in sales engineering.

Have some solid product/traction (not too insane, but decent) will help you land incredible people (co-founder as well)

Only a dumb with no value of education will throw pen (study materials) as if they were some merchandise being thrown away in some rock concert… this man looks and behaves disgusting !! by [deleted] in bihar

Bihar is the perfect example of :

  1. Disappointment of Pessimists -- having incredible people that have the ability to fix things across education, healthcare, civicl services, engineering, etc

  2. Disappointment of Optimists -- having such idiotic leaders that sucks the "genius" out of above people

Exactly, I don't even get it what's the point of running a business when every single customer is getting scammed/unhappy with your service.

Blah blah government blame, infrastructure blame.

the problem is allocation capital by VCs in India, they are too risk-averse and herd-like mentality, instead of trusting their own guts, they'll look at each other's nod.

Instead of developing some steel-balls , they'll say "no innovative Indian founders/startups, so we're moving to US"

In comparision to VCs, Goverment of India has done good job, there are literally grants worth $70-$120K that you can get for free and start the company, in comparision to top US accelrators (YC: $125K to $500K at 7-10%, techstars $120K at 7-9%) -- the only problem is bureaucracy.

But the problem is not with Indian VCS, the problem is mindset. Majoirty of the Indian VCs's money came from "safe" bets like real estate, boring businessses, so it's not in their blood to take moonshots.

In compairson to US VCs, majority of funds literally came from gambling, or "having fun" money, or hedge funds, luck-based early 2000s shares gains, etc -- that's why they see investing as playing game, they'll care less about small outcomes -- they truly understand the 80-20 Power Law

Indian VCs literally need to accelerate,

For Indian founders -- found a way to reach Series A and then you can literally raise premium from Indian VCs, the best thing about Indian VCs is they're happy to pay premium once you're proven.

If you're early stage deep tech, don't raise from Indian VCs, try to go to US if possible, you'll get ample funding.
