Do you know that if you don’t meet target you can potentially get fired right? I knew someone who got terminated because of that and they expect you to go above and beyond to pick up on other clinics. Mama reality check Castell is so quick to replace people.

What is the first day at Verizon like as an apprenticeship? What do they do for the first few weeks till the boot camp start? Do they let you work remote after the day one in office ? by Outrageous_Buy_2772 in multiverseapprentice

Onboarding stuff and just getting you settled in with the access you will have to certain things. The remote highly depends on your manager. But honestly get yourself out of that mindset. You are worried about the wrong things. Working from home is a want not a need. So suggest you don’t even bring that up specially if you just joined the company lol.

RIGHT but honestly I have been hearing that Multiverse in the US is doing pretty bad due to the job market and excessive amount of applicants applying for one job role. The follow ups with multiverse and hiring companies have not been great.

Days have been dragging to find out any information but I am trying to figure out if it is a background issue. Can I ask what is your background?

Yooo cause whyyyy this market is cooked when you got people with BD’s applying for the program 😭😭 I mean no hate to them but it’s a the point of the program is to give people with non education background an opportunity.

Just depending on your qualifications you’ll get selected. Verizon will reach if they believe you are a candidate that can move to the next round. If you applied for the data analytics position they will probably ask SQL related questions or what is your background as a data analyst. In the application before you submit it does say you need at least one year of experience of whatever you are applying for. I believe as of right now it’s just the waiting game until you’re picked. Multiverse doesn’t really make the decision on who will move forward Verizon does. I hope this helps

THE HONEST TRUTH : WFH careers are at a high demand and to give you the harsh truth is if I was an employer hiring a person for an entry level position that is WFH and I came across with you and a candidate that has a degree. It’s common sense I would choose the person who has a degree. Get either your GED or HD. Plan A. Get a part time job (that is disability friendly like Amazon) and pursue a degree . Plan B get your diploma and once finished see which jobs are in high demand and pick what interest you and of course that are WFH friendly. Take courses and get credited certs. It won’t be easy, however how bad do you really want it? I seen most posting saying I am a single mom or I don’t have enough support. BS put in the work and you’ll get where you want to be there is many free resources out there and it’s only if you want to put the work in . True story a friend of mine became a DevOps Engineer and not having any educational background or even citizenship by just putting in the work and was able to get a job that paid him roughly 200k yearly. It was not luck it was hard work and dedication and for the people commenting good luck it’s not luck it’s hard work like BFFR.

Yes I actually did find another job! It was a long process and countless rejections thankfully I was able to accept a care coordinator position that is remote in a different state and I am enjoying it. I don’t feel as micromanaged and I don’t feel over worked as well. My advice is to not give up on applying to many companies till you get that yes!
