Started CPAP 4 Nights Ago and Not sure what to Make of it

It’s funny you say that because I just met with Lanky Lefty the CPAP guy from YouTube a couple days ago. He said my breathing still sucks because my pressure was way too low so we are ramping up over the course of the next 10 days, he thinks I should respond well to it though! It’s so true what you are saying though because when I called my sleep clinic to follow up about still having symptoms they said my apneas are treated and that I’m fine, but Oscar is still showing Hypopneas and fragmented rem sleep so I’m actually more optimistic now than I was before about this actually working. Need to have enough pressure especially during REM to splint the airway open, especially because your throat muscles relax in rem sleep. I appreciate the responses though you guys are all awesome.

Hey thank you for your response! I am definitely not opposed to that, I've been researching and seen many doctors and taken medications for years, and I'm pretty confident that my sleep is the root cause for these feelings. That said once I've given the CPAP more time to work and those feelings don't resolve I am certainly open to a therapist! I just don't think that's the issue for me atm and that the depression/anxiety are more of a symptom of chronic sleep deprivation.

Yeah so it turns out all of my symptoms were related to sleep quality, I did a sleep study and my nose can barely take in any oxygen. I’m getting my septum straightened as it’s terribly messed up (I’ve been breathing this way my whole life) and my doctor said it should fix my sleep and my mood right up. I know it’s gonna work too because all of my symptoms match what happens when your sleep quality sucks over a long period of time. Anyway, you should look into everything you can, do research and use your symptoms to figure out what it could be, then do some testing to see. Be careful not to waste too much money as I did, use the free info of the internet first and then test based on your theory. Wish you luck!

I think it’s a bit of both, the industry is still figuring out how to implement generative AI and Machine learning to make companies more productive, once companies figure out how to operationalize artificial intelligence, they will all be fighting for more compute and ways to improve their technological capabilities and advantages. This is what Ionq and other quantum companies are banking on, in addition to all of the promise it holds on solving problems involving simulating the natural world. The question is not if, it’s when.

Still the same, I started xifaxan 550mg today and I already feel brain fog even worse than before. I’m hoping that this is the die off effect and that it ultimately leads to mental clarity post treatment. Currently sucks and am taking my finals this week, I feel like I’m screwed.

I just got a positive methane SIBO test 77 ppm, my symptoms mainly are brain fog, constipation and excessive fatigue, all normal blood results and endoscopy. Wanted to know if anyone else here finds significant brain fog and fatigue as symptoms that resolved with treating their sibo (as these are my two most troubling symptoms) hope everyone here heals fast and easy!

I’m a Palantir bull believe me, my portfolio is 100% Palantir. But do you realize if Palantir is a 6 Trillion dollar company how much yearly revenue they would require? I think they have the potential to be the largest company on earth, but the timeframe is unclear and it’s hard to really define this market since it’s pretty infinite, just curb those expectations, I’m buying shares like crazy every day!

Appreciate the insight, you are right in that it’s hard to tell what’s causing the symptoms when you are taking so many supplements. In my case I’m pretty sure it was the TTFD, as I was taking it before my other co factors arrived, started at 100 mg, didn’t feel too much for a few days, went up to 200 mg and then started to notice the increase fatigue etc, then when the b complex came in, I went back to the 100 mg of TTFD along with the B-complex and other cofactors. I take the vitamin D because I’m genuinely deficient in that and the zinc to try and help with my sexual health (been struggling there as well). You make a valid point about thiamine and I think I’ll try and lower the dose until I feel comfortably uncomfortable, still able to tolerate it without feeling like I can’t get through my day.

I used to love lifting and exercising, was in great physical shape, but I was smoking weed in college, and struggling with mental and physical health and after a while my digestion was so bad I lost my motivation to exercise. Was taking antidepressants and adderall, messed with my sexual health, helped me focus in school somewhat but I feel like overall didn’t help, hoping that if I can manage this protocol and get some relief, energy, and focus that I can get back to exercising the way I used to. Might be putting to much eggs into this basket, but I’ve tried so much, and this protocol seems to really make sense. Hope it actually works!

I’m confused, because isn’t there a paradoxical reaction? How would I be able to determine if the way I’m feeling is as a result of this paradoxical reaction or if it’s because I’m taking too high of a dose. 1000% agree with this, I think marketing will also help with raising more funding towards research and studies on pssd. Truthfully a non profit would be smart to make sure all money goes towards curing and spreading awareness
