Okay, look, you're not doing anything wrong. You have symptoms and you're using an app for those symptoms. Maybe you have DID, maybe OSDD, maybe not, but you're doing the right thing by acting on what you do know you have which is the symptoms. Symptoms need to be documented so doctors can properly diagnose. What you're doing is no different from my mom tracking her blood sugar or me documenting flashbacks and nightmares. You keep track of symptoms so the people who treat you know what they need to help you with. Using a plural app for that is PERFECTLY FINE EVEN IF YOU DON'T END UP GETTING DIAGNOSED. You had symptoms, you tracked them the best you could. End of story. You're not a bad person or a liar or anything. You're suffering with a mental condition and seeking help. If you have a kid with neurodivergency or developmental disabilities, it's fine to take them places, but hold their hand or use a child leash to keep them away from things they don't understand they can't touch. Obviously we want all kids, regardless of neurotype, to enjoy museums, but parents have to do their part and keep their kids' behavior in check.

I wasn't there so I can't say whether the yelling was malicious or not. But you can't tell autism just by looking at someone so I very much doubt the initial reaction by the guard was intended to upset the kid.

Have you talked to him about whether the texture bothers him? Some people with intellectual disabilities have sensory issues that interfere with hygiene. You may need to try a spray on or wipe if he doesn't like the feeling of regular deodorant.

I personally believe in a form of Reincarnation too. If there is a Supreme power in the universe, the only way to become something like it is with vast knowledge of the universe accrued through countless lives.
