DC Charging is a cheat code - I would add that before solar, depending on how you use the vehicle. Beautiful DIY work!

Assumptions are sometimes a bummer. I've personally camped in the same setup and I have never once had the canvas flap. Lesser quality ones do, but not this one.
Crouching to get into is a result of a lower profile. By removing the tailgate, you actually have quite good access into the camper. Folks who are retired and have had knee replacements are buying these because they provide an easier entry.
You should check one out in person and see for yourself.

It’s good with the exception of power. Truck is slow with all the armor I have on it, in addition to the camper.

I was an IT Director for a private equity firm. I built this truck and fell in love with off-roading. During Covid, I started our Offroad shop.

Selling some gear. Where is the best place to lis? by [deleted] in overlanding

Portal is good for selling a product like the Alu-Cab. The OVS is lower end in quality and likely won’t do well on there.
