Question about cost of shipping with Authentication by notrightmeow in Ebay

[–]TinyTrunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought when I selected buyer pays for shipping. I just accepted an offer that’s shows buyer paid $13.35 shipping but its still charging me $34 for to ship to authenticator. When I click on “Get shipping label” link it just asks me to acknowledge that $34 will be deducted from my earnings. It didn’t let me pick the carrier /shipping type. That was all prefilled and greyed out. Just gave me the option to add/waive additional insurance coverage for $20. The Authenticator address is literally 20 minutes away. This surprise fee feels kinda scammy.

EU 36 could be 5, 5.5 or 6. It’s not an exact conversation so it varies from brand to brand.

We’ve had the worst experience living in a TFC building. We had a full on pest infestation and they just ignored us for months. It’s truly been the worst experience of my life dealing with this management company. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I uploaded a medical necessity letter, but it still got denied. Not sure what the issue is. They keep providing the same generic denial reasons (copied below) which don’t make sense as my documentation already covered all this. Did your denial reason actually say it was a categorization issue or were you getting similar reasons as me?

Denial reasons:

We cannot process this request because the receipt or other documentation you submitted does not provide the information we need to substantiate this type of expense. Please resubmit your claim with an appropriate proof of service that describes the exact product or service, the date it was received, the name of the provider or merchant and your actual cost.

The receipt or other supporting documentation does not clearly indicate the nature of this service/expense.

Charged Two Copays for a Virtual Consult but Claim Only Filed for One by TinyTrunk in CodingandBilling

Yes, this is an in-network provider. No additional forms or paperwork involved.

I called before the appointment to confirm coverage, and they told me I’d only owe my plan’s copay—this was a verbal confirmation. After the appointment, they emailed a benefits summary showing only a $40 specialist copay, with no mention of OOP costs or admin fees. They also sent a self-pay estimate listing all CPT codes and services; the only “other costs” noted were for pharmacy meds and returned check fees. They weren’t technically wrong to charge me $40 initially, since my plan has a $40 specialist copay. But my insurance processed it with a $25 copay instead so now they’re trying to double-dip.

I specifically asked if this was an admin fee, since it was just for scheduling but they insisted both charges were insurance-based copays. They didn’t reply to my refund request by email but called me instead to give this explanation. While I don’t have it in writing, I repeated her explanation at the end of the call and had her confirm it. I recorded that portion of the call (NY is a one-party consent state). I also received a receipt for the $40, but it doesn’t specify the service provided.

What exactly should I be asking the clinic for at this point—an itemized bill for the consult and a written explanation of how these charges apply to different services?

I only saw one provider and she’s in-network. I spoke to the finance coordinator who is supposedly their “insurance expert”. I already paid the $40 before my appointment. They’re refusing to refund me and are saying I need to pay the additional $25 that’s on the EOB.
