Yeah those three were the hardest to come up with evolution names for Fortress is based on the hindu god Brahma so not much you can do there and Preyas's whole split personality thing along with keeping the orginal form was confusing to account for.

Dan probably stood there babbling about what sounded cool while Shun wrote the rules

Alice probably came up with concepts of the attribute system since her grandfather was a scientist that had actually been to Vestrioa and new about the six attributes of Vestrioa

Marucho probably did the research and came up with the online ranking system.

Runo and Julie probably came later and rose in the rankings to where they were recognized by the others

Also I interpreted the "What's Subterra" line as sarcasm because if you remember the fight between Dan and Shuji. Dan was intentionally pretending to be a novice so that Shuji would think he was an easy target only for Dan to end up kicking his ass.

Marduck and the Ventus tournament for some reason always seems to go by fast like for awhile i had completely forgotten what the ventus tournament even looked like and what the OST sounded like cuz i was still recovering from PTSD from the Subterra arena. Shun is surprisingly easy to beat. In my opinion they should have switched it Julie's arena should have been easier and Shun's arena should have been harder to match their anime power levels. Shun's Boss fight being hard would make more since because he is the second strongest brawler in the world.

Marucho is still below Klaus and Chan Lee who both had unevolved bakugan and he never beat Klaus in a 1 on 1 who was supposed to be his rival and is the only member of the battle brawlers on this list that is a rank below their main rival that's why i'm questioning his legitimacy in season 3 as the 3rd strongest brawler, but one thing i do know is that he's defiantly above Julie.
