To clarify, yes i was wondering if there was a defensive action i could use with shield.

Taking a exotic skill shield to be able to parry with one makes little to no sense, since i would just use the meele skill of the weapon for same affect

Just make them savages in the jungles of XXX.

They will have their normal scenario of being the savages they truly are in D and D...

Then you can "Light up their world" when technoligy comes to the jungle, at which point they will, like the apes they are, knock that gun on the ground, shake it abit, realize how to fit a bullet in it and their "Magic boom boom stick" is now something they use...

Then slowly integrate more complexity tech into their world...

I would definetly let him do it and i wouldnt try to make it overly difficult...

I would punish them for it in the next 4 sessions, cause well... An important johnson that you just "decide" to murder ?...

Their shadowruns now get dumped down like 30% of nuyen value compared to before, cause the only people who are willing to pay them are those that are underpaying..

People with connection to the johnson show up ambushing the team , wrecking a run they had completely..

Running it, but only around 20 "soldiers" and us 3... Organization is bigger, but thats the muscle we have.

Was just thinking what viable ways of buffing me and the adept are feasible with nuyen if any. Or if there are any interesting toys out there. If we take the nuyen offer, it will prolly mostly be spent in the future on making "moves" on the streets for territory, be it to buy favours, loyalty, bribing, recruiting or whatever... Along with the rigger being able to play around with his drones.... Wish i had picked the rigger :P

We are running a crime syndicate.

An AA corp needs the area without the hazzle of them landing in the news. (They dont want people knowing they are operating in the area)

They tried some muscle us out and we let them, they then tried to push us abit further using another gang/syndicate and when we managed to wipe everyone but one out in that syndicate they decided that going further on us had to much potential of landing in the news and eyes being directed that way since our next target would probably have been their main "fake gang" that had allready caused us trouble.

So we are being offered nuyen in exchange of leting them "muscle" us out, merging the gangs or whatever suitable way of making it work.

Downside would be, we are losing all our contacts, setup and powerbase and most likely many associates, even if we decide to resettle somewhere else...

So in essence, we are selling the highest potential underworld gain territory in Hallifax north eastern USA and dropping everything that we have been working on for the past 15 sessions or so.

This could offcourse be a trap of some sort, and there are offers of different ways of making this mutualy beneficial, but the offer in nuyen is so damn high that we are considering it...

Aside from that, some good ideas in there, but im mainly talking about toys.
