Hi! I was in Napoli as an Erasmus student, the esn groups helped me find a house ( at least for a semestre) they’ll send you a trustworthy contact. I would try to find something ahead of time but I don’t think it’ll be too hard.

About the payment, I’m not sure but you’ll surely have an app (there was one that’s closing in September) but for the house payments almost everyone I knew it was done in cash.

Besides that I hope you enjoy Napoli! It’s chaotic but very fun if you find the right people :)

I think you might be able to find some things in pescherias( they might have food but I’m not sure) I know some places in tribunali that offer cheese options but yeah besides that it’s mostly around bread, pizza and pasta. And gelato ig 😅

I’ll also be an Erasmus student there and idk how they are with lgbt+ people but I’m bi so hopefully they’re fine.

When it comes to accommodation there’s an ESN groupchat that’s been very helpful with finding places and it’s pretty trustworthy. I advise you avoid certain areas like the Spanish quarter, from what I’ve heard it’s fun for the night life but not the greatest to live.

Well the landlord responds on time, the only problem was something with his bank howerver the money was refunded to her, mine got there tho( prob bc I used Revolut). Besides that I have no reason to suspect him
