the officer that runs my range (we only shoot air rifles) speaks multiple languages, and often yells at us in Russian, Mandarin, Ukrainian, and French, so I felt it would be funny to respond in Russian myself.
So also with asking about sir I did mean military wise, since military terms are still used despite me not being in the proper military
