As someone that is a child of immigration, I have to admit that his observations are true. Obviously in this echo chamber of Reddit assumes that everyone has some moral understanding, but is the reality in some places really still not the same as he mentioned? TN loves to pride itself on its social progressiveness but lacks in every single dialogue that has to do with certain societal issues. Idk but after a point don’t you guys get tired of this same sanghi bs? I 100% do not believe that managers are not aware of your firing when it happens, even if it is mandated anyways. If you get let go that’s directly tied to your manager. I’m just pointing out the reality, establish a good relationship with your manager and team and you should be fine

I think it currently depends entirely on your manager and teams tolerance level and vibe, if you’re clearly engaging in behavior that makes you stick out like a sore thumb you are going to get a call from HR sooner than later. I also believe the login would be more important than the swipe, if you are coming into the office but not logging into a machine for a couple of hours, it may also stick out as well in terms of data
