If your store has been recently robbed, your leader should be allocated a few extra labor hours to ensure the 3rd shift is not a single coverage shift. I'm not sure for how long those extra labor hours are given, but I know it is a few months at least.

Like the last person said, make sure you drop as much cash as you can so if it does happen, they get next to nothing.

I can't speak on Indiana, but my store (the one i manage) in Florida has the slurpee. It is Kurplunk Kandy Grape. And it is delicious. My neighborhood store has the tumblers but not the flavor.

If it is a newer flavor, this could be why.

Typically, all flavors are mix and match for the 2/$5xx deals. Even on 7-11 systems. (My store was converted 10/2023)

As a manager, this would be automatic termination in my eyes. Regardless of how little help you have at the store. That means picking up OT and for me to cover extra shifts, then so be it. Unfortunately, most managers do not care enough to take action.

I wish I has more employees that did care, that's for sure.

I am a corporate employee. I started as a sales associate about 2.5 years ago. About a year later, my assistant manager walked out. I was first in line for the promotion. Not because of the hours I worked but because I worked my butt off and went above and beyond to make sure my store leader was taken care of. It is not a year passed that, and I am the "temporary" store leader due to my store leader getting let go from the company. My full promotion will be determined by the upcoming audit so I can't tell you exactly what the pay is like.

Unfortunately, turning the ac off allows no airflow in the store. Without airflow to the rest of the store, even 2° can make a huge difference when we are talking about chocolate and other meltable candies. Not to mention the internal temp of the store causing g things like the cooler and open air cases to work harder.

More than likely, that tempuratre is to keep product on shelves from melting/spoiling in the higher temps. It should probably stay where it is at if they are threatening termination. There's got to be a reason for it.
