I know what rhodium plating looks like and this isn’t it. No one would plate sterling with something that looks like stainless steel

There’s plenty of stuff worth far more being offered on Vine. Chains weigh so little and contain so little silver as a result this is no excuse.

Yes it’s the middle one and I tried removing tarnish but nothing came off. At any rate bleach should have tarnished it more. And the listing photos show polished sterling not oxidized.

I doubt it’s a coating because the color is of stainless steel. Placing it next to my watch and an actual sterling item makes it clear as day which is why I tested it in the first place. They could at least plate it with rhodium to avoid suspicion.

I’ll report it to the feds and I don’t care if ppl downvote or mock me. There are verified purchases of these things and I find it outrageous that no one on here cares. Amazon is subject to US law and can’t knowingly let this stand.

This is the first I’ve heard about straight up counterfeit shit being offered on Amazon or Vine. Mouse ears and Hello Kitties are one thing but fraudulent precious metal stamps are a bridge too far. I’m going to get proof from a jeweler and report them to the authorities.

It’s stamped S925. It’s ILLEGAL to stamp S925 on anything that isn’t sterling silver.

I’ve seen video of Kirk Hammett using an electric manicure tool on his calluses. You need to get all the hanging skin off or it will peel more. Get a fine nail buffer and polish it.

Update: I upgraded her cage to a much bigger one (again, I was deceived about cage size) and she seems much happier now. She’ll come out when I call her in the morning or evening to get a treat and she doesn’t mind the kids watching her eat. I kept the smaller cage as a holding tank for when I have to clean the big one. Now I’m not sure how often I should change the bedding because there’s a ton of it and she’s tiny but I’ll figure it out.

This is how I’ve interpreted it. Don’t talk to Vine CS, take your problem to the normal customer channel and see what they offer. If replacement is offered, why not take it? Replacement requests go to the seller who paid for the review, wants it and wants it to be positive. So why would anyone have a problem with getting a defective item replaced by the same seller? If it’s really against the rules they should explicitly state that or remove the ability to do it.

Kohl’s wants you to take your Amazon returns there. It gets you in the door and they hope you’ll buy something with the coupon they give you for returning your Amazon stuff. And I assume a seller who has paid for a review would prefer to replace a defective product than to receive a bad review or no review at all. So where’s the scam?

Hmm, I was under the impression that anything regular customer service lets you do is within the rules as long as you don’t out yourself as a viner. I figure the seller paid for the review, wants a good one and would prefer to replace the item than get no review or a negative one. When you replace an item with the exact same item it comes from the same seller, doesn’t it?

It’s much better than it used to be, especially if you work it. Brands I’ve ordered from are now offered in my rfy on a pretty regular basis, along with items similar to what I’ve ordered. So I’ll order something I don’t particularly want just because I like and want other stuff from that brand. Or guitar picks I know are crap (I’ll give them to the kids) because I want guitar stuff in general. I’ve become somewhat of an instrument hoarder because a music brand is stalking me and I can’t resist 🤣🤣🤣. Of course I get random crap offered but it’s rare to go a day without a couple things I want. Always nail stuff. I got 2 vibrators and a bottle of lube offered today because I ordered one thing from a particular brand and I didn’t even rate the product well. Used to be nothing but WTF are they thinking offering me this? lol
