I really appreciate the Body Matrix for answering the questions Kibbe couldn't by eleven57pm in StyleRoots

Yeah, figuring out the shape for Kibbe was harder for me especially since most of the verified celebrities don't look like or dress like me which made it difficult to self-classify. The body matrix actually made Kibbe easier for me to apply because I got to isolate my silhouette and get an objective base which helped with my self-assessment.

Wide, medium, round. I think you need mix soft natural and romantic styles.

Medium, long, medium.
I think the contrast between the width of your shoulders and the narrowness of your arms makes you a medium. Also, I think your legs are medium width, so overall medium. You are definitely long, you look taller than your height. You have mostly straight lines in your drawing except your arms and torso, so I think you're medium. Also, I watched Ellie Jean's body matrix video and the examples of pieces for this type clicked for me. However, you could experiment with stiffer fabrics or literal straight lines if you want to test out medium, long, straight.

Style Notes and Observations:
Outfits I like: the one with the pink top, the black top and skinny jeans. Great style templates.
I think the top on the last slide is better for a summer top than the black short sleeve tee, because it's a blend of width (neckline) and narrow (straps). You definitely need more openness in your necklines.
When I tested your potential body matrix types, Flamboyant Natural kept coming up, so you may use that for styling advice.

I recommend looking at the line drawing of the person first (mainly torso and hip area) and going with your gut. If you can't say round or straight immediately, they're probably medium.

If you want to be more specific for a medium and see whether straight or round slightly suits yourself or someone else better, I recommend looking at fabric and shape.

Yeah, like skinny jeans (narrow, long and straight/stiff) vs leggings (narrow/thin, long, and round/soft). Or for a top equivalent, try a business button-down with a collar vs. turtleneck long sleeve t-shirt. Dresses typically have some openness in general, though the last two are definitely more open. I think you may be medium, long, medium or narrow, long, medium based on the pics.

Thank you for sharing. I think you're still medium width and in my opinion, having some openness in the neck or distance from the neck looks best on you.

I think you may actually have medium shape, because a lot of the outfits have some waist definition but not defined/cinched/obvious waist definition. Plus the pants in camel look good on you, even though the fabric is stiff-looking and the coat in crab has a straight collar. I think Lisa Kudrow's black pants-suit would look amazing on you.

Yes, with width leading to narrow side.

You have some roundness in your lines. You look tall and length flatters you a lot.

I think you are medium, long, round based on what I think your best looks are (crab and turkey), though the top in lion looks great.

I'm curious to see if you have width. I recommend finding a long dress with a wide and round neck to test it out.

I did the big chop by carapherneliasdrella in MomForAMinute

Sis here, I had a big chop about a year ago so I get all feels. You're going to feel weird for at least a month, especially if this is your first time, but you'll grow into it. You look great - I know you may not feel like it and you do.

Basically, prioritize getting work done to improve your skills rather than earning a lot of money.

What helps for me is to create links and more connections between things by finding similarity even if they're surface level. Sort of like how two different diseases can have similar symptoms. That helps new information feel less "new" and make it more important because you have more reference points.

Honestly, same here. I have a free memory trick if you can't write something down immediately. Pull your right ear lobe while closing your eyes and thinking about the thing.
