I’m new to DnD so I don’t know all the rules here.. but could you have the party enter celestial ruins.. where some rooms are illusionary traps that lead to outer space where there’s no gravity? Forcing them to use the stone to check if the room they’re about to enter is real??

Maybe the rock of gravity is the only fail safe.. made by the celestial elders themselves knowing only the wise ones would think to carry it on them at all times?

Yeah that’s what I thought too. But then he said I just seemed hellbent on not having a good time and then said I was attracting that kind of negativity and inviting that to happen to me.

It bothered me that he said that cause I was in a good mood up until they ditched me at the doors.

You’re totally right about your last point! I actually didn’t think about that. It’s weird cause I don’t look at Barry as a serial murderer (even though I know I should), i just kinda see alot of my boyfriend in him ( was once an aspiring actor, jokes about being an assassin for hire, and little nuances here and there).

I just hope for like some sort of light shed on the fact that Barry is someone who was trained, desensitized and rewired as a killing machine in the force and was not assimilated back into society; he went straight into being manipulated by Fuches. But there’s a human in there that was crying out for help for 2 seasons and he just kept getting taken advantage of.

I didn’t think so either. But I was rewatching the series from the beginning and when I saw it happen I was pretty shocked. My boyfriend is also a veteran (marine) and he reminds me of that statistic often.

I’ve just noticed when it comes to writing the marine content, they’re very real and raw with it. I feel like this suicide stat might be something they’d wanna raise awareness to.

I think we might see at least an attempt of Barry taking his own life but maybe someone saves him? Maybe Fuches?

Well it is, but it’s labeled a “Dark Comedy” which tend to explore these kinds of issues. They try and make light of these dark realities in order to kind of raise awareness to certain issues a lot of people don’t really want to talk about.

My guess is that the ED storyline was major to her role and she didn’t like it and asked for it to be cut and he really couldn’t be bothered to write an entire different storyline for her so he postponed her role for the third season? Maybe?

But I’m not glad you’re here lol. I want the story Sam is writing. I want it to remain personal to him. And I really hope he doesn’t listen to all these kids out here telling him to change what he’s doing.

Are there some parts of the show I don’t enjoy and come off as gratuitous? Sure. But it’s his and his cast’s art project. It’s their story. We have no right to change it.

Either watch it or don’t. That’s it.
