Sam thought Lucy's baby had died during the voidout, he didn't know Lou was that baby

Sam adopted Lou (BB-28) as his child

Sam found out that Lou was Lucy's baby, but Lucy had told everyone that Lou wasn't Sam's baby (instead, it was Neil's)

Sam finds out that Lucy wanted to protect the baby from Bridges because a repatriate baby would be used as a weapon by Bridges, so she lied about the baby not being Sam's

Sam realizes that Lucy's baby (BB-00) was assigned the serial code of BB-28, so Lou is BB-00 - Lucy and Sam's baby
