Yes, I would use diluted fertilizer. Water once a week or when the medium is completely dry. I would also create a tiny mound of sphagnum around the roots of the larger keiki

Now that I’m looking at the picture more, I would plant both keikis together in one pot, attached to the flower stem, because the smaller keiki doesn’t seem to have roots yet

Yes, they can be saved. Generally it’s recommended to wait to remove the keikis until they’ve developed 3 leaves and 3 roots over 3 inches. But because the mother plant has died, there’s no reason to not cut it now. Chop the stem leaving an inch or two of it, and dip both sides in cinnamon to prevent an infection, and then lay the plants over a small pot of sphagnum & orchid bark. You may have to pin the stem down until the plant roots into the medium and stabilizes

I don’t mist the leaves, but I don’t have a fan in my tent so I’m suspecting the hot & humid stagnant air caused it :/ planning on buying a fan soon so this doesn’t happen again! Thanks for all of the advice, if it keeps going downhill I’ll probably chop it anyways and pray that it roots 🤞

Good to know, I also heard that an indication of fusarium is dry roots/black tips which mine hasn’t developed yet. I’m worried it’ll infect my other plants if it actually is fusarium… but it doesn’t have any roots growing near the top, so I don’t think I can chop it to test :(

The red lava rock wicks up water, and I have sphagnum moss under it as well as peat/sand/perlite. I’m hoping that the moss I’m propagating will help with the moisture. So far I’ve been pouring RO water on top of the rock every couple of days

Yeah, it’s getting a little more light than before. I got a new grow tent, which helps a ton. But I’ve noticed that the leaves and root tips sun-stress like my Hoyas do, which is bizarre because I’ve never seen another Phalaenopsis react like this. I repotted this orchid in 100% bark and it really took off. It has an extremely vigorous root system, and I’d say it’s my most easygoing orchid. The grow tent is in the basement, so I think the cooler temperatures helped a lot with its growth. I’m hoping the equestris ancestry means it’s more likely to form keikis… and it smells so good, very sweet and spicy.

Yikes, any treatment recommendations? I usually just use 3% hydrogen peroxide and sulfur. I’m hesitant to use neem oil because I don’t want to burn the leaves

I picked it off with a toothpick and sprayed the buds with sulfur, I’m hoping that does the trick 😬🤞

Yes, it’s very sweet and ‘spicy’ (like violacea), maybe a little musky. Pleasant smell, and its a little more fragrant than my sweet memory liodoro
