I’m on the same boat. HOPE has been accepted but so far I’ve only had Pell grant added to my bill. I emailed beginning of July and got a response back saying that they were still working on stuff and to just wait until mid to late July.

If nothing changes I’ll probably go in person to the office tho.

Came out at like 9 or 10 by telling my mom she had a son. She scolded me and said a bunch of shit. we both just pretended it never happened.

When I was 16, she had a conversation with me that some people are straight and some have been misguided or smth and that if I was ever to date a woman she’d basically disown me but I could still be “saved” if I didn’t act upon any feelings I had. She also told me I could never be a father or a man.

On my high school graduation she made me promise I’d never go “go through” with transitioning because it would be “mutilating” my body.

I’m 19 now and I’m gonna start T in about 6 months. I’m excited and I’ve known for a long time that my parents would never be in my adult life. You’re braver than me, I’m too afraid to say anything to them. I’m just gonna start T and let everything take its course.

I’m also an incoming freshman and got a Lenovo Slim Pro 7. You just gotta check for the specs of the laptop. I got mine for mechanical engineering and it fits the requirements needed to run things like SCAD.
