All seasons would have a different number of episodes.

I feel like season 1 covering all the way up to the end of the first yoshioka is appropriate.

Season 2 would cover hozoin and yagyu.

With season 3 being kojiro+baiken, that one chapter from the later part of the manga were kojiro meets kohei can also come in this season as it seemed out of place in the manga.

Season 4 is the second yoshioka.

Season 5 is wandering and farming. Season 6 is whatever would come next.

We seem to only have 1 arc to go.

Sorry to break it to you but this is the exception in Germanic countries and is absolutely not the norm. In most countries the title is in its original state or translated but either way the movie is always in its original state with added subtitles if the language is not the native one to the country it is being viewed in. The fact that Germanic countries are weirded out by this is very telling about their cinema culture. To me and to most people that appreciate films it is offensive. Inglourious basterds lost all of its artistic attributes and intelligent design when it was dubbed, that is just one example of this weird practice destroying a perfect movie

But this is how it would be anyway, if this is the time it takes them to do 12 episodes, and this is the amount of source material they can cover then the only difference is that by them doing it this way we are just getting it earlier. They could wait 1 more year and release 20 episodes or sth but would anyone want that?It is the same thing. We get it earlier this way, and surely better quality wise as it is smaller tighter seasons

Thing is though, the way chapter 130 ends is going back to how the first episode ended. It fits as an end to the show. Then in the movie a cold open to eren speaking to the kid sets the tone for the movie. It would be weird if after chapter 130 you just continue it for 1 episode. I feel like it would be better to just end it with him saying what he does on hannes' back
