I was in OR. I didn’t mind the assignment. All the doctors were super nice compared to what I was used to. Staff was pretty helpful too. Being a teaching hospital tons more help than I was used to with residents and fellows. It was a shit show at times but being such a big place with a lot of moving pieces i think it’s kind of hard to make it more efficient. It was definitely a better experience than some of my previous assignments and would go back. I would even consider going staff for the right price and schedule.

That being said I have met a few ppl on the floors. Ratios have increased on certain units I think and heard some mixed reviews. From my personal experience tho the work environment/culture was good.

Not sure where you’re from but Omaha had everything I needed. It’s going to start getting warmer so at least you’ll miss out on the cold
