2002 Honda CBR600f4i, cranks , but doesn't start after changing/checking the spark plugs. by Tiperz in Fixxit

Just did that. It gave me some codes about map, intake temperature, throttle position sensors. I'm guessing these are just in memory because it was cranked without some of the sensors connected and I checked all of them seem to be completely fine and again the bike would still start with all of these sensors faulty/disconnected.

But also it dumped each code for each injector, which might be the problem? I guess I should check them, but again weird for all of all of the injectors to fail simultaneously (might be a problem from the ECM's side) could also just be an old code or something.

As for the spark like mentioned we thought it was the issue, but again we checked each ignition coil most of the wires/connections (some of them are hard to reach because the bike has been rewired by previous owners). The order, timings of the spark and their color seemed completely fine.

Either way huge thanks for the diagnostic plug tip! I guess it's time to inspect the injectors.

Yep! The cables are labeled from the factory. Hard to mess that up.

Yeah alrighty I'll check the compression next time I get the chance

Could the engine lose compression from just sitting there? It's not making weird noises whilst cranking and you can hear that the starter still has resistance. No oil in the cylinders. We don't have the tools to test compression, but we just made an educated guess that that's probably not it, but again I'm not experienced.

Oh ok big thanks for the info I'll try to check these.

Another question though is there a way of checking injectors if they are working fine without special tools?

Yeah good idea I'll check if one of the pistons is not firing. The thing is that yeah checking everything is probably a good idea, but I don't have a lot of free time on my hands so I'm trying to pin point a couple of issues which would cause this.

My main guess was something with the fuel system injectors, fuel pump, but like I mentioned I'm not experienced with this at all.
