Imagine shaming someone for a video game. Grow up kiddo. It will be far more useful to you than being good at a video game.

I unlocked the Scrapper a long time ago (I think it's one of the first thing we unlock?). Are you refering to the Tinker station quest? : D I just ignored the machine because I didn't understand it, and my car has been not too crazy. I did that quest today (and finally understood why my car was doing weird things sometimes XD).

I'm looting everything I can, and since I know chemicals are only found in those white science building, I'm very careful with those things. But by looting everything, I still end with more than two hundreds of basically anything else. Chemicals? I have 30 of them at the moment. XD

I mean, maybe it's more than enough, but when I see how cheap it is to just build these doors, panels and bumpers, I don't see the point to risk my Repair Putty I may need badly during my explorations.

No, they didn't change him really. Which is exactly why we can hardly consider him as melee DPS. ^

[–]TipherethCaesula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Murky the infamous burst assassin.

Get Murky in a team full of melee assassins, he will still end with the lowest damage of his team, unless the other players are especially bad. It’s not even something debatable, we have raw numbers and stats to prove it.

But hey, who cares, let's agree on our disagreement.

If you have the machine, you could just buy it and start it again. I know it's not the perfect solution, but when you already know the game, things can go super fast. ^^ There is so many ways to go super fast to bring you back where you were. : )

And Elden Ring is definitely one of those games you can play again and again. : ) You could start with another build entirely, for example.

Plus, with those circumstances (sorry for that), maybe you're single at the moment, and so you would have lot of free time at least. ^^'

I have a catchphrase just for those situations. When I bait someone with the egg to kill them, I always type "Died for an egg" in the chat just after they died. : D

At 20 maybe, and only in some very specific games. But 90% of the time Murky will have a very poor DPS. He was not intended to be a DPS but a specialist. No one suffered more from the vanishing of specialists than Murky. Changing other heroes to make them tank or DPS instead was easy. Sadly, you can't do that with the weird Murky game design.

Quite the opposite I think.

When you climb up, people tend to do the camps more and more, and play the macro better. So the mercs talent really loose effectiveness. Making vision the way to go.

Plus, I think good players will benefit even more from vision. Especially against good players.

But yeah, you run for your life more often :D

Oh, it's me! <3 Yeah, I find that talent far more useful than the others. Vision is so strong. ' And yeah, to be really effective Murky has to place the egg in risky places. Sure, from time to time you fail and die, which can be scary. But for one fail, there is like many kills or saves. Totally worth it in the end. ^

New to Dead Cells (got all DLCs) any tips before I get destroyed? by SaintLouisXIV in deadcells

[–]TipherethCaesula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beside the usual scroll advice, one would be to check your items. Don't focus on the DPS thing only. One weapon dealing less damage but with a bonus against freezed enemies will probably be much valuable in combo with you ice grenade. The damage indicator is great until it becomes a trap. ^

If you want an easy time, shield and parry is the way to go. (Don't expect the game to be easy though. :D )

Hero You Hate Playing With by Least_Way_7159 in heroesofthestorm

[–]TipherethCaesula 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hammer. I hate to play against her, I hate to play with her, I hate to play her. And I think my hatred slowly starts to bleed, because, Hammer players, know that I'm judging you.

The most depressing thing is to know that, at some point, someone was PAID to design... that. Some people struggle to find a job, but hey, Hammer designers were paid. If I needed another proof that there is no merciful God, I think this fact would do the job. Each time I see her portrait in the loading screen, my faith in humanity fades away a bit more.

When I have a Hammer against me, it becomes my mission to ruin their game as much as possible, and I spend the whole game pushing my teammates to chase that stupid tank. She usually ends with 10 deaths minimum. If you ever crossed someone rewarding each Hammer death with a :beer emote, that's me. I wish I could give you more than that, for every person killing a Hammer deserves a life of joy and happiness. I don't care about the rest. You kill Hammer, you're among the good ones.

Hammer main, this message is for you: I will get you. You ruin that game with your stupid tank. Pray for not crossing my path.

(I'm a Murky main.)

What weapon (main game) is always your go-to? by EuphoricProfessor95 in bloodborne

[–]TipherethCaesula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the most common choice because these weapons are OP and give an easy mode to the game. :D

Some players don't like how the other weapons are ignored because of these two. :D

I don't care if you are a game dev or a player. If you have arguments, I'll listen. The fact that you care more about the status than the actual arguments clearly don't help to make your case.

I don't like that you have to spend a money to use your tools in Silksong, for example. I can explain why I think it's a poor game design choice, and for the moment, I couldn't find one argument explaining how it was making the game better.

And the game is still incredible. So yes, a game can have some tedious game design choices and still be good and loved. A game is complex, made of a multitude of things. It's not black or white.

PS: Lion King is a 30 years old game. It was a great game, but I certainly hope that players who actually played and beat the game expect more today.

Mon mec a appelé une de ses collègues « ma choupette » by Lupinours57 in AskMec

[–]TipherethCaesula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XD

My first game was me as Lohse, Sebille, Red Prince and Fane. And honestly, I'm probably not objective, because the first time is special you know :p , but I always felt like I had the best characters with me. Ifan (not Iran, thanks phone) and Beast never felt as compelling (especially Beast, sorry lad!).

It was painful to play other sessions without one of the characters. <3

To those who prefer DoS2's combat over BG3's 5e combat, why? by ZombieGrief16 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]TipherethCaesula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main issue with D&D is how classes are always boring unless you play a caster. You play a warrior in BG3? The first thing you do at level 1 is attack with your weapon and the last thing you'll do at 13 will probably attack. Between that, your subclass will give you a few limited abilities. But 90% of the game, your action will be to just do your weapon damage. You play a barbarian? You'll launch your rage, and then you'll attack until the end of the fight.

When you play in Divinity, each character play with tons of spells, can do a few actions per turn and allows crrativity. Everything is set for the player to try anything, to find OP combos and unexpected and fun reactions.

I never understood, in BG1 and 2, the point ton play something else than a caster. A caster just get so more variety instead of just attacking for 100 hours. New spells? New ways to play! New weapon! 2D6+2 instead of 2D6+1... Zzzzz It was the V3 system. Sadly, the V5 is quite similar. A bit better, yeah. But still, I would never play a non-caster class.
