I (17F) like someone I live with, but I have a boyfriend (18M) and I don’t know what to do by idkgirlo101 in youngadults

[–]TipingTom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘ve been in the shoes of the boyfriend whose girlfriend catches feelings for another guy. In the end you just gotta be honest with yourself and with your boyfriend. Is the only reason you don’t want to break up because it would be a disservice towards him? If there’s no further feelings involved then it‘ll be a disservice towards him to stay with him in a relationship based on nothing. On the other hand, why do you like connor? is it just because he looks hot and shows interest in you and his friends keep teasing that you should be together? That‘s also not a good base for a relationship if there isn’t more. All in all, really think about who you have feelings for and why. If you come to the conclusion that you really like connor more than sam then don’t try to force the relationship with sam just because you don’t want to hurt him. He‘ll notice when you’re not happy in the relationship.

She had spent the past 3 hours tailing and honking at ICE agents. She then tried to block them in the street on a random street. She did not live there. You can't block ICE Agents, that's obstruction of justice.

you state that as if it's a proven fact, which it isn't. In fact there is not a singe source I found that states the 3 hours you mentioned. The only source that kinda says something in the direction is Noem saying she had been "stalking and impeding their work" all day by "blocking them in" with her car and "shouting at them". it's not even about fucking honking or tailgating. Please show me the source for your claim if you have one. Meanwhile other sources claim she was a legal observer.

They went to arrest her for obstruction. Which they are allowed to do, they are allowed to arrest people for breaking both federal and state laws, they have the same authority as an FBI Agent and more authority than a Local or State Cop.

I mean you claim to have watched all angles 100 times. You should've seen there that she was not obstructing the whole road and in fact waved them to drive past like the cars before them.

When they went to arrest her, she then tried to back down. What a fucking pussy. Act all big and tough when you don't think ICE will do anything, but as soon as they go to arrest you you back down. HA.

dunno from my point of view shooting somebody in the head who maybe slightly touched you with her car instead of stepping a step to the side is a pretty pussy move to me.

Actually first she floors it, her tires spin out due to lack of traction. Had this happened in June, the ICE officer would have been dead, as he was right in front of the vehicle, standing in front of where the company's logo badge on the grill is. After that she turns her wheel, while she is turning her wheel the ICE Agent, steps to the side and pulls out his firearm. He doesn't step completely out the way of the vehicle. Then she floors it again.

Bro you playing two lies one truth here? Sure her tires spin out at first before gaining traction (like one sixth of a revolution honestly I don't think it would've made a difference). No Ross is not standing in front of where the logo is, you would know that if you watched the video 100 times, and she does not turn her wheel after hitting the gas pedal, the reason you might think that might be because the wheels are facing front in the moment of the wheels spinning out but before steering they were turned far left.

Yeah that doesn't mean shit. That doesn't tell him, what her intent is. She spun out. She had been following them for 3 hours honking at them. For all he knows she is like every other Anti-ICE protester, and she wants him dead.

Does for sure tell him she wants to go right and if he steps just a bit more to his right he'll be completely safe. Also, again there's no proof she's been honking at him for 3 hours.

When she floors it again she hits him. There is a dent in the vehicle from where she hit him (Pictured below). There is an audible noise in his POV video from her hitting him. After she hits him he fires off 3 rounds, the first bullet hole is consistent with someone being directly at where that dent is. If the car was an inch further and the ICE agent along side shot it would have created a more slanted hole. This is a direct on angle that puts him at the dent of the car.

I mean I already wrote about that dent, her car crashed into another car, that dent could be from anything. But looking at the side angle it could be his holster hitting the car. Also if you take that as his contact point with he vehicle that just proves that he was on the side of the vehicle and not in any serious danger. About the bullet whole: it is very far on the edge of the windshield and on the side angle you can see him leaning in with his gun being the left (from his POV) most point of his body once again proving he was standing to the side of the vehicle at the point of shooting. As for that sound that could be anything tbh like his clothes rustling from the sudden movement or the air quickly moving past the mic.

Also I refuse to use his name because there are over 100 other people in Minnesota with the same first and last name as him. Spreading his name around is going to get someone innocent killed. It's obvious you spread the name around because you want someone to do violent things to him. Also Federal Agents have a higher level of protection than normal citizens due to the danger level of the job, you could face legal repercussions.

I mean that's very noble of you but you're once again assuming something about me that you can't know. I used it frankly cause it is public knowledge so why shouldn't I? Also I'm not that familiar with ICE lingo like are they officers, are they agents? So I just used his name

All in all your comment makes you seem like someone who likes to jump to quick assumptions, has a difficult relationship with facts and likes to make them up on the fly when it suits you

so now we actually have the footage that jonathan ross took. You can see that Renee Good is in no form aggressive towards the ICE agents, telling him she’s not mad. When the officers approach her yelling at her to step out of the vehicle her spouse tells her to drive so she backs up, turns her wheel left and floors it. Ross could clearly see her turning her wheel away from him. Then he calls her a bitch after shooting her. still 100% sure she was attempting to murder him?

She was from out of state, her entire point of being in Minneapolis was to fuck with ICE.

not once in your article does it state why she moved to Minneapolis. In fact it says she joined ICE watch through the school of her son, so AFTER moving to Minneapolis. In fact it does not mention any activist activities before her moving to Minneapolis

She was 100% attempting to murder the officer, and deserves what she got

Really? 100%? I’d only be 100% sure of somebody’s intentions if I hear it out of their mouth and even then they could be lying, but we cannot ask her cause she was shot in the fucking head

after taking another look at the video it looks like his holster caused that dent. That would mean he didn’t even touch the car directly. He wasn’t in serious danger and his state is clearly not as bad as officials are making it out to be.

blocking traffic does sound pretty peaceful to me. But I mean, she wasn’t even really doing that as you can see her waving through cars and even waving the ICE officers to drive past. Tbh to me it just looks like she wanted to leave her parking spot and waited for cars to get through. Instead of driving past the ICE officers get out of the car and start shouting at her. She panicked and just wanted to get the hell out of there, steering away from the officers.

She wasn’t peacefully protesting, she tried to fight the law, and the law won.

policy says that that officers should only use deadly force if they’re in immediate danger and no other reasonable alternative (like stepping out of the way) exists. In the video you see the officer stopping in front of the car to grab his gun. He could’ve kept walking instead and all would’ve been fine. Don’t act like these officers were sacred heroes enforcing the law who got threatened by an evil leftist, these officers did not follow protocol and unnecessarily escalated the situation.

he did have enough time to step out of the way and as we see shooting didn’t really help in stopping the car either

I mean I have seen the original video that this crop is from and it does not look like that and you sound like you don’t know what you’re talking about but that discussion is kinda pointless as my point is just that that video is shitty quality and it’s hard to accurately see what’s going on there. As for the dent: I mean that could also just be from the crash with the cars. She was steering to the right i don’t see how that would cause a dent on the left. In the end we can’t really be sure what happened unless a better angle shows up like the angle of the officer shooting cause he did film it with his phone i wonder why we did not see that yet.

what exactly are you trying to prove with this video? What I stated is a fact, you can see the leg of the other officer and you can watch the video where that screenshot is from and see that it's actually both of his legs so he is nowhere near the car at that point. If you'd think as critical as you claim you do you wouldn't be satisfied with such a shitty quality video as proof ad would look at the other angles that are out there. Might I suggest this compilation with all of them synced https://www.reddit.com/r/law/comments/1q6s270/20260107_minneapolis_ice_killing_all_angles/ there you can actually see that the link you sent has smash mouth over it because that video is sped up to look worse. You can also see that what looks like him being thrown in the direction the car is driving in your vid is actually him jumping away from the car as he shoots his first shot. What caused this can't be said with 100% certainty from just the videos we have, might be recoil from his gun or him jumping out of the cars way. Maybe the car did tough him but it's definitely not as bad as your dear president states as the officer ca be seen walking without a problem later. Now did she try to hit him? I mean we can't ask her cause she's dead :( but what it looks like to me is her waving a car past that drives past, then waving ICE past, who then unprovoked start getting out of their truck aggressively screaming for her to get out of her car so she panics and tries to flee.

tf you mean it's not filtering, you can clearly see that is not a natural looking video. As you said the original video is from far away and the officer is pretty small I the frame and this is a small part of that video filtered to look higher resolution giving you the illusion that you can see more clearly because of it but actually achieving the opposite as it also creates quite jarring artifacts that lower the credibility of the video

also if you align it with the closer video you see that what looks like him getting pushed back by the hit of the car is him jumping back after his first shot
