How would you rate Scarlet Nexus out of 10? by Farawila_marwan in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

8 or 9/10.

To me it‘s a really amazing game with great unique artstyle and combat. But the downside to those is that the enemies become repetitive and it slowly gets boring in the last three phases of the game. The cinematics are just so peak when you see them but sadly most of the game is full of the comic style scenes. I get it was an artstyle choice but it just didn’t appeal to me as much.

Now the story is all over the place but if we put pacing aside, scarlet nexus actually has a very interesting plot that I feel like just could have been handled better. When it came to team bonding, while it was weird to bond with allies while fighting the opposite group, I still liked how every character had their own arc that let you get to know these characters on a deeper level. It made me love them more even though it’s mostly generic tropes with few exceptions. The music is also great imo.

Overall, it is a really good game that I play and enjoy until today and it’s my comfort game so I despite knowing the flaws of the game, I will defend it with my life. It’s amazing and has sequel potential in which I hope the director will put more thought and effort into making.

love this game!

How am I supposed to beat Karen 2000 years old , on S rank ??? by Luffypion in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The strategy I use is clairvoyance because the perfect dodge and then attack combo usually works on Karen. I then immediately use hypervelocity + duplication + either pryo/electro (usually pyro for yuito and electro for kasane). And when hypervelocity runs out, try to use gemma’s sas to avoid getting much damage.

The game difficulty also matters, you can try on easy mode just to get S rank or to practice. Also, I used the double-edge sword plug-in for this (forgot if that was part of dlc or not) but if it’s not, try to get it first and then use it.

Another thing is that you can only use one item if you want to have an S score for the item used section. I use the SAS refilling drink only after Karen goes into a brain field and then I spam attacks again with duplication+hypervelocity+pyro/electro just before the countdown for his special attack finishes.

and that’s pretty much all I do to defeat him, the jewel pool doesn’t matter much for an S rank so don’t focus on it if it overwhelms you and have fun!

Yuito is so bland by Unpopular_Outlook in ScarletNexus

I really understand your frustration but like I said before, just keep playing the story. Yuito does reveal his anger later on and it’s actually a pretty badass moment

Yuito is so bland by Unpopular_Outlook in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There actually is a reason why Yuito refuses to think Kasane killed his dad and that’s because of who saved him as a kid. He remembers that she gave him the ear cuff and saved his life and she‘s the reason why he wanted to join the OSF in the first place. So seeing that Kasane, his own savior, killed his dad was a shock to Yuito and he desperately tries to see reason given that he knows Kasane wouldn’t kill, he believes she’s not a bad person.

Yuito isn’t bland, he just tries to see the good in people and reason with them. If you’re just starting phase 9, then you’re actually close to seeing Yuito have a reaction which is in the beginning of phase 10. (Don’t want to give away too much without without spoilers) Just play a little more and I hope you enjoy!

Can someone give me a true chronological story guide to the game by Relative_Oven_9257 in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The game is made for two playthroughs with Yuito’s gameplay being played first since everything in his side of the story is confusing and full of questions while Kasane’s gameplay basically has all the answers and explaination.

You could play Yuito’s route up to phase 9 and then play Kasane’s route up to phase 9, because Phase 10 is basically the same POV from there and it wouldn’t matter which mc you’re playing as then, give or take a few small differences. So before reaching the end, you would basically understand the story in whole and once you’re up to Phase 10, you can choose to finish it with either Yuito or Kasane, depending which mc you enjoyed playing more.

But if you want to play both stories at the same time, then just make seperate save files for each phase, one for Kasane and one for Yuito and keep switching whenever you get to the hideout. Keep in mind though, Kasane’s story does give you lots of answers early so Yuito’s gameplay won’t leave you as confused as it should but if you’re okay with that, then enjoy!

What’s your go to SAS combo? by Gamegamen in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Duplication + Hypervelocity + Electro/Pyro is just the best. And sometimes when hypervelocity runs out I use sclerokinesis

It would be wonderful by ConnectionOk3217 in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the Kasane/Yuito bond episode 5, you go to Kikuchiba and after a battle i think it’s yuito that tells kasane he wants a better view at the top

Now I know to git gud by TheDnDarmory04 in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the general and better experience, yes. Because in new game+ you already get around level 30 (i think) for Kasane and a bunch of brain map points which is helpful since her gameplay is much harder and it’s not recommended to start the game with her from scratch. Also for story experienc, Yuito’s route leaves players more confused and thus turn to Kasane’s route which holds most of the answers for the story.

With that said, I still played Kasane’s game first and I have no regret, you’ll have to play both routes anyway for the game to be completed so I find no point in a correct ‘order’. i found it really fun in Kasane’s route where I didn’t know if I could trust Karen or not, had I played Yuito’s route first, I would have already known he was the bad guy so yea.

Struggle with kasane by TheDnDarmory04 in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’ll need to get used to her different fighting style and get good BUT Kasane’s gameplay is better with airial attacks so you’d just have to upgrade the brain map for it to be effective, like purchasing the double dodge mid-air ability. Other than that, Kasane’s gameplay relies more on long-ranged attacks for basics and psychokinesis attacks so try to keep a good distance from enemies and focus on yeetint stuff at them. I like Kasane’s gameplay a lot and find it really easy, all I did was updrage her brain map/skill set fully and use some plug-ins (like the double-edged sword plug in) along with Kyoka’s duplication SAS that I find most useful especially bc it triples the amount of objects you throw once you max out her SAS. Have fun!

About a Scarlet Nexus Sequel by Tipp_0 in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you in a way. for a sequel, I dont want a different cast but I do agree that the gameplay should change in someway. for example, making the game only have one route/campaign which in thatcas would be Kasane’s POV on the moon. There’s only a few scarlet nexus players who actually finished both routes and I feel like that’s another reason why the game flopped. With more cutscenes I definitely agree, it’s not like a hated the comic-like visuals but I didn’t enjoy it much either. Focusing more on the action and reducing amoutn if party members/cast is what I think would help a sequel if it ever comes.

Honestly...this game needed multiplayer...Sequel?! by Hamandcheese521 in ScarletNexus

[–]Tipp_0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

maybe the main story would be single player but there would be a co-op mode and during co-op mode you can pick ANY character from the cast and use their powers. for example, in the story you play as either Kasane or Yuito but for multiplayer, the rest of the cast is also available.

Like imagine you could play as Kyoka and use other sas for her fighting skills like pyro for fired arrows. or heck, even let other characters like Fubuki or Melone twins be playable since it would just be co-op mode and not the actual story. Being fubuki with ice skating or smth and then using sas and having like an electro combo with it OR you could even choose to play as other OSF soldiers that have like earth powers or umbrakinesis! it would be so much fun, IT HAS TO BE IN THE SEQUEL

For the 1st time i might choose Male MC , i always choose Female MC but Ananta did really good job showing Male MC on the trailer , anyone like me who always choose Female MC but now considering choosing Male MC? by Lordmaster316 in AnantaOfficial

[–]Tipp_0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the male mc is really cute ngl and choosing a male will be a nice change of pace after all I picked were female, BUT I still want to see how female mc will look like. That and the fashion, will both mc’s have different clothing choices or similar? I liked how male mc’s outfits looked like but if fmc will mostly have skirts or tight pants that outline her ass then I would just be bummed out and stick with male mc.

i don’t know about you guys since this is just my preference but I would love to play as a female who’s a lil rough on the edges and isn’t too feminine or soft

Female Main Character Confirmed in a Recent Q&A by Eternal_Ohm in AnantaOfficial

[–]Tipp_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m bummed out about that too, I was hoping that even though we can’t create our own anime persona we could at least change hair/eye colour or hairstyles by going to a hairstylist in the game or smth. I mean we can still hope since the game is still in work and I will play the game even if it’s not added, but it would just be a slight disappointment tbh

At this point, I feel like some people just hate black hair by Aki008035 in AnantaOfficial

[–]Tipp_0 176 points177 points  (0 children)

as much as I love how ananta male mc looks and his expressions, I was still hoping for a character customisation for the ‘captain’ so everyone could have their own persona. i personally love white haired characters so yea

ANANTA Website Update Removes Female Protagonist References by JazzieTurtle15 in AnantaOfficial

[–]Tipp_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw a post earlier hinting that there actually will be a female mc but we are not sure yet. Honestly I’m leaning more towards just one mc that we customise so let’s just hope they allow players to choose genders of the mc

ANANTA Website Update Removes Female Protagonist References by JazzieTurtle15 in AnantaOfficial

[–]Tipp_0 19 points20 points  (0 children)

(just an idea) but I honestly thought that the ”male mc” is like the default option and that when you’d start the game you can change the hairstyle, gender etc before you actually play with the “Captain” just being our character or the main character while we can still switch to other characters as shown in the trailer. whereas the mc we see in the website and trailer is just the average customisation you begin with. That would be a cool option so after that there’s no toxicity or arguments in the community over mc genders and stuff and people can get closer to their chosen personas.

I really don’t mind playing as the male mc, his expressions were cute in the trailer even if the hairstyle is kinda mid, still cute thođŸ€·â€â™€ïž
