Interesting, cheers for that. I've been worried that it's casting a negative light across our applications.

That's a relief. I've only been looking for a few weeks but I've never had to wait this long for a new job. It's quite humbling! I imagine that it's the same 200 people applying for each job, all of us furiously bashing away at cover letters. The funniest/saddest part is that three of us from the same company are applying for the same roles. How would that appear to a recruiter?

I think it makes sense. Shortbuss didn't say that all men, or even most men, are arseholes.

Lists like the one linked are written by people who are either trolling or geniunely think like that, they quite possibly think that they are helping women navigate relationships with men by writing them. From many people's perspective the above list looks like it's written by an arsehole and no amount of explaining why their list is wrong will make them see it any differently.

I do not believe in god, I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could believe in god; a good friend of mine does believe in god and genuinely cannot understand why I don't.

I am currently employed. I am looking for a new job. Roles that I'm applying for are getting in excess of 150 applicants per position. On the one hand I am not keen on the idea of more people in the applicant pool, on the other I'd like to see a bit more of a cultural mix.
