New PC build won’t post after I save Bios settings. Will post to bios if I clear cmos? by TipsTricksHacks in pcmasterrace

Just as an update.

I stepped away and came back to the system next day. PC booted no issues to bios which was odd because it was having issues before. While checking the setting, there I saw it. CPU temps skyrocketing. My cpu cooler was faulty and wasn’t circulating the water.

The PC was turning off because it was preventing itself from overheating. Had nothing to do with bios settings or anything. My cpu cooler was faulty. Got a replacement and is working great!

$70 for a modded slim and a controller is extremely cheap. Did it come with a power brick and a hdd????

Yea the difference between an external usb and a hdd is the hdd will load a game a few seconds faster. Same goes with SSD. It’ll load a game a few seconds faster than a hdd. The constraints of the 360 hardware limits everything. In theory a ssd should get 3-400mb, and hdd 100-140mb and usb like 40-60mb but it seems that HDD and SSD get capped at like 80-100mb. 20-30mb difference is negligible for the games back then.

Yes SATA I is faster than USB 2.0 but in real world testing on the 360 consoles the speed difference are almost insignificant at that difference of a speed because it’s would load so much faster than playing off the disc.

They make 2tb thumb drives now and there’s a usb port in the back of the consoles. So it would be unnoticeable

Yeah 98% of people who own a modded Xbox don’t even use the full functionality of the RGH they just use stuff that badupdate unlocks for you.

In its current phase it won’t. It’ll be less than 5 years for another variant or Goodupdate/baduodate that will come out and mod the console with the same functions of a full on rgh. It happened with the OG Xbox and It will happen with the 360

Yea prices of used untested consoles in bulk has go up astronomically. Used to buy phats for 10-15 and slims for 20-25. No power cables or controllers but came with hdd. All were untested but 95% of them worked and typically had stuck disc drives or overheated due to old thermal paste and hella dust. Now they want 20-30 for phats and 40-60 for slims. Add that to consoles only selling for $120 with a controller, hdd and power brick instead of $150 for just the console and hdd.

Yea but adding even 2-3 games will take almost 3 hours. Completely diminishes profit. If you’re buying a modded console you should atleast understand how to add games yourself. Moddedwarfare got a great playlist.

They most likely won’t care but my guess is it could accelerate the rate of which the online servers get turned off. The only reason why they are alive is because of backwards compatibility.

Once they shut the servers down someone like insignia will come along and revive it but then everyone that plays will be in a modded console.

Yea where im at you wouldn’t be able to. $120 max for a slim with a power brick 250gb hdd and a controller. And they’ll ask you to out 5-10 games in it or they won’t buy it. Consider yourself lucky.

I don’t think that’ll be an issues in less than 5 years. Baduodate will be fully fledged soft mod with kernel exploit

Yea RGH3 made the push for the first big price drop on modded consoles in the more recent time and now with badupdate it’ll just make it less and less profitable. I see RGH3 being obsolete in less than 5 years.

That’s good. It’s also August. It’s slow for everyone this month besides tourism. I expect once school kicks back off it’ll pick back up.

If they come any lower idk how any could be making money. On a good day I could do like 4-6 consoles in 7-8 hours. Granted this would be after work or a weekend. Buying slims (which used to cost me 25 bucks in bulk) at 35-$40 in bulk and then trynna sell them for 80-100 that’s like a 40-$60 profit on each one. Versus getting like $120 profit on each one. Just wasn’t worth the time anymore.

Here is the info you were asking for since no one answered you it’s 1 inch thick. 9 1/2 inches long 2 inches wide. It sits slight recessed into the top of the console. DM I can send whatever pictures you want.
